What if on the Smackdown side of things we had a WM Main Event of:
John Cena vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton vs. Samoa Joe for the WWE Title.
AJ/Joe and Cena/Orton were arguably the two biggest names in TNA and WWE respectively from 2004-2010 and would present several different dream scenarios(Orton V AJ, Joe v. Cena, Joe v. Orton)
What does everyone think?

I don't think it would be a bad match at all. I'm more hoping for a triple threat of Styles, Cena, and Joe with Orton fighting Bray for the title. Just don't see Orton being ok with having 2 other people in the match though.

I feel like Orton and Wyatt need the title as part of their program more than any combination of Cena/Styles and Joe would.
If they wanted to go the route of the three way, you could have Joe come in at EC and lay out Cena as the first elimination. They do a big deal where Joe is taken away by cops. Then later in the match Joe comes back out and takes out Styles in the same manner. That would give the dynamic of Cena and Styles having their own personal one upsmanship battle and both wanting to get revenge on Joe for costing them the title. And it would be a strong way to introduce Joe as a top guy.

I agree with this statement.

Yeah, Cena/Styles/Joe doesn't really need the title if that's the way they are going which is hope it is.

There's been loads of great FFW's. Can't think of any off the top of my head though haha. That one on Raw a few months back... Cesaro, Kevin Owens... Miz? Jericho? Can't remember who was in it. But it was great!

The rumor is that we will have Orton/Wyatt at Mania for the title, which could be good if they really work hard on the story and the push. However after last night I would really like to see Luke Harper get involved a bit more, I'm imagining he goes one on one with Orton at Elimination Chamber while Bray goes into the Chamber, and somehow wins the title. I'd LOVE to see a triple threat at Mania of Orton vs Harper vs Wyatt for the title but I don't think that is very realistic.
I'm thinking Joe is either signed to Smackdown! and put in the chamber match, and starting heat with Cena the moment he debuts. OR Joe somehow interferes in the Chamber and causes Cena to lose to AJ, who then gets screwed by Shane and Bray wins.
We could see
Orton/Wyatt
Shane/AJ
Joe/Cena
IC Title Ladder Match
Smackdown Womens match
Goldberg/Lesnar
Reigns/Undertaker
Rollins/Triple H
Jericho/Owens
Strowman/Corbin
Raw Womens Match
and the pre show can have the battle royal or some tag title matches.

What Fragile said, Bray will win the belt at the Chamber. It will be Wyatt Family Explosion at Mania for the WWE Title. I think Cena has one more Mania and retires to Hollywood. Maybe he will only match Flair.

It was Mix defending the IC Title against Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Still a match of the year canadiate in my mind.

Sami Zayn, Neville, Tyson Kidd, and Tyler Breeze had a good one at a NXT Takeover.

See, I feel the opposite way. Feel like Orton/Wyatt doesn't need the title as part of the program. The moment of Orton finally breaking out from under Wyatt and fighting him once more is already "a moment" with "a lot" behind it.....
There is literally nothing i'm looking forward to for WM

I agree it's a moment, but Orton winning the title adds a layer of complexity. In Bray's mind, the alliance should be about trying to further Bray's career, but now Randy is in the title match at Mania. All the while Luke can say see I told you, you can't trust Randy. Then Randy can say look, I did have your back Bray, but you got eliminated, isn't it better one of us is in the main event. Now when Bray wins the title, he can put this expectation on Orton to essentially lay down at Mania. Orton does some soul searching, acting like he will do that. Then a few weeks before Mania, he gets put in a situation where he hits an RKO on Bray. Then you have Luke out there as an x factor.
Is still a great storyline without the title, I just think the title adds a layer.

Yeah, it definitely adds a layer, but there are so many layers to Orton/Wyatt already that I think the title could be used to add a layer to a feud/story that doesn't have as many layers as Orton/Wyatt.

It's a debatable point. We can agree that they built a very well thought out, long term storyline with the Wyatt's that will payoff at the right time. Excellent storytelling.

If a program needs a title, then it shouldn't be for the fucking title, hahaha.
