Easy win for AJ here, accomplished way more in her time on the main roster and was involved in genuine main event storylines as a central character. Comfortable win.

AJ of course.

I must admit i used emma here because i just started watching NXT and cant understand why she has a job. Im hoping there is an emma mark or two that will shed some light on her for me

I like both these gals. Emma's best work came after turning heel and dropping the "dancing" gimmick. I don't think it is enough to even touch all that AJ Lee has done and accomplished in her career.

Gotta go AJ has Emma hasn't had a fair shake yet

I voted Emma. Completely subjective, as AJ has achieved a lot more. Underwhelmed by AJ Lee in the ring. Emma has had matches I enjoy. Liked her with Paige and think she can get over with familiar crowds. I think Emmalina will show off her "talents" a lot more. Don't miss AJ Lee at all.

Emma hasn't done enough to even factor in here. It's hard for me to not think of her as that weird jobber chic with the awkward dance/walk.

Laugher of a poll here. I mean, come on...what's Emma best known for, stealing an IPhone or phone case and that shit promo earlier tonight? AJ Lee was a female character with depth and development, which was something rarely seen in the era of women when she was with WWE.

Have you just started watching NXT from the very beginning? There are a couple different Emma types, and I don't think you'd feel the way you do about the most recent one before Emmalina.

All this said, though...if we can agree that the opponents should get tougher each round, and Roman Reigns was before Emma, who you currently think is the most worthless wrestler ever...do you REALLY think that little of Roman Reigns? Or is this a farce?

That's why I'm voting Emma here.

Round 2 is, more often than not, the lowest round the average BW champion gets to have an opponent selected just for them. Meaning AJ's next opponent would be the same level of wrestler that beat reigns.

AJ.

Both are good wrestlers overall but AJ takes the nod mainly because of her career being a lot more successful on the main roster than Emma. Also for her playing a big role in WWE eventually taking women's wrestling more seriously with NXT and her acting as the bridge for it.

Could argue Emma is easily the biggest botched call-up on the women's side since modern NXT started. A lot of potential squandered because the WWE has no clue what to do for her for any periods of time.

On Aj's contributions: Her biggest impact on the formation of the modern women's era was the tweet she sent out to Stephanie. Her pipe bomb I suppose. Which would make her a huge contender for better tweeter not better wrestler.

Going to disagree mainly because your downplaying her role and career way too much.

Sure her impact isn't as huge as modern NXT for women's wrestling in the NXT nor did she have the same benefits of the Divas division being just as strong quality wise, but she still played a big role in transition from being just a pure piss break to something more meaningful.

Became more obvious how different she was compared to the rest of the division when the Bellas were trying to hog or dominate the division because of the Total Divas stuff.

I might have to go back and see how terrible Emma was. Beyond her promos (it's weird as an Australian to hear the accent on television), I can't remember ever cringing until she got to the main roster. I kind of like her strong style-inspired approach. It feels like she's got her own vibe. But maybe I am remembering with rose-colored glasses because I desperately wanted women's wrestling to be a thing and got swept up in the Paige/Emma stuff.

There's no way she can be worse than Alexa Bliss, Carmella, Tamina or Nikki Bella though. Her ring skills always seemed "good enough" to justify her being featured in a role.

She was also allegedly the most vocal about her and other women by WWE backstage, which may have inspired the whole "Women's Revolution" thing by someone on creative. Not saying 100% it did, but that would be a cool legacy for her to have left behind if sher did have anything to do with being the catalyst for better treatment and booking of the women these days.

She was trained by Lance Storm, essentially guaranteeing that she is more than capable in the ring. Sure, she lacks a bit of charisma and promo ability, but she's hot as shit. She's also from a foreign country, which no matter how popular the star, is very helpful when promoting WWE worldwide.

Still waiting for you to elaborate as to how exactly I'm "easily the worst poster to ever exist". It's not as though I posted what I did out of judgment or criticism, but it nonetheless still happened, on top of which, Emma has had what, literally 1 or 2 matches on the main roster? And what matches she has had on the main roster have been utterly forgettable, as I can't eben recall who she has fought at the WWE level.

AJ just accomplished more in her time with the company. She was a great women's champion, had a awesome look, could cur promos like nobody's business and even had a couple of intriguing on-screen romances.

This isnt really about Gooby just something that kinda bugs me. With the "rep economy" being what it is the rep system means nothing. Since rep power grows with both rep points earned and months registered the rep power of us old timers is so staggering that now noobz blast into the bright dots within weeks. The inflation of rep power hasnt seen an equal adustment to rep milestones so the whole system is junk now.
