I loved Beth, but I really struggle to see her as a HOFer.

Why? Confused

I tried my best to avoid finding out before Raw but it's just not possible unless I go live in a cave every Monday until WrestleMania.

I'm pretty annoyed that I found out before the announcement on Raw as I would have loved to have been surprised, as I'm a fan of Beth Phoenix but at the same time, I'm happy she's being inducted.

I can see why she's being inducted, with her Royal Rumble appearance in 2010 being what springs to mind first but also her first two reigns as Women's Champion were pretty lengthy and good too and even though people never really liked the Divas Championship, she did have one of the longest reigns as champion.

On a side note, her Glamarella stuff with Santino was pretty good/entertaining too.

But overall, she was just a great wrestler and a very important part of the Women's Division during her time at the top. Without her, the division would have been really close to being 100% terrible.

She gave you a reason to watch a women's match during her time in the WWE.

LOL what did she do besides being a couple with Santino? She was solid and had a few title runs, but nothing about her stands out.

I think they're trying to induct one diva a year. And considering how much thinner the options are for women, I expect to see Ryan Shamrock going in in a couple years.

BB (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathy_Dingman) will be inducted next year.

Have they announced a celebrity inductee for this year yet? I vote Abe Vigoda who went to a WWWF event once.

Think Ryan Shamrock was the first wrestling woman to give me really dirty thoughts back in the day. Then Trish Stratus blew the doors open a year later.

She feels a bit too modern. I get why they'd steer clear of Sable, Torrie, Stacy, etc. with the juxtaposition to what they're trying to do with the current Women's scene, and Chyna for obvious reasons, but you've got Ivory, Molly, Victoria, Bull Nakano. I mean this will be only the 10th female induction, and Miss Elizabeth isn't in but Beth Phoenix is?

NOTE: I know that the circumstances of Liz' death might be a hurdle but Hennig OD'd and was a HOF'r just over 4 years later. She's been dead 14 years now.

If you think Chyna should be avoided "for obvious reasons" along with Sable and Torrie, why not Maria Kanellis and Ashley Massaro as well? Did you just forget, or...?

Good for her even if women wrestler choices were always going to be slim pickings because of how WWE treated the division for years.

Yeah with the exception of 2012, they've been following a similar template for classes since 2010. Always going to get at least a tag team, a celeb, and a women's wrestler to help fill out the class. Sometimes a manager and/or stable also gets included.

Think Beth Phoenix would be "fine" as an inductee...... but many years down the line. Think this is "too early" for her......

Unless she is coming back to wrestle and they want her to have the gimmick of "I'm already in the Hall of Fame!"

Someone who deserves to be in but is never mentioned: Leilani Kai.

Involved in the second biggest feud of Wrestlemania 1, former Women's champion, one half of the Glamour Girls and wrestled for the championship at Wrestlemania 10 as well

Could see that be tough mainly because the WWE leans a lot more towards Attitude Era and forward for women inductees. Also could open up an old can of worms about Moolah since she played a big role in the end of her first WWE run.

What about Andy Warhol who walked into a room while they were rolling tape on the War To Settle the Score?

She had some good runs as champion. A bright spot in the Dark Times of the Emperor Johhny.

I can see Edge having a hand in this, maybe like a clause in his negotions to stay on for his network show.
"O, you want me under contract for another couple years? Well before I commit to anything, I have to say: #HOFPowerCouple has a nice ring to it "

Obvious pick to induct her would be Santino, but I'm not sure of his status to the company so... It'll prob be the RATED R SOOO-PERSTAR

Natalya will induct her no doubt. Can't see how it could be anyone else.

Wendi Richter was one of Moolah's girls and she got inducted not that long ago I believe

If Trish wasn't about to birth a 2nd child I'd say Divas of Doom Vs. Team Bestie for a WrestleMania.

Hopefully Cyndi Lauper' finally gets in. Especially since she's the most important celebrity in company history

The wwe over saturates the HOF every year. Not sure why they have the desire to induct 50 people every year. It seems like they want to induct everyone who ever worked for them. Soon they will be inducting front office staff.

I clearly missed the Beth Phoenix era. I dont remember anything she did. I know nothing about her. But to be fair, i just got back into wrestling hardcore like a year and half ago so.

That was my old account , i was so obsessed  , i don't really think of her sexually now due to coming out, however her in ring work was great considering that lack of talent she had to work with.
