These are on demand on my cable box. I'm not sure if its up to date to the very last one, but i'm going to review them anyhow. I"m just curious to see what i think of some of these guys and if this is something i can actually get in to.

The first episode is starting with the group Decay that has Abyss in it. So far interesting. I remember Abyss being something pretty big at one point.

Honestly, I've never cared for the octagon ring.

Looks like this is actually a female match between Randy Rhodes and Rose Mary maybe? Randy is being walked down to the ring by Moose and Moose seems like Apollo Crews.

Ok actually this is a mix tag team match. Thats cool. Abyss is not in it though. That's not cool.

Moose has to wear a full underamor like shirt because he's a bit overweight. Also apparently Randy is Cody Rhodes wife. And Moose is big black man helping her. I can see where this is going.

The background stories of these people are way more involved when it comes to the announcers telling it. If this were RAW, this storyline would be like two lines and then a bunch of !!!!!!!! through out the match. I kind of like it.

Decay loses to a 3 punch wind up punch thing that is pretty bad. And Randi Rhodes and Moose are probably going to fuck now. Apprently those are signature Moose punches. That guy is going no where.

They showed a highlight of Eddie Edwards vs Lashley for the title. Eddie Edwards has this finisher called The Boston Tea Party and i like it a lot.

We got a couple random white guys. I guess they had a bad split. Eddie Edwards and someone . I guess they had a Wold Nation maybe? I think we can all understand the anger that happens when a Wolf Nation doesnt work out.

Wolves Nation. Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards used to be the American Wolves.

I paused my review after Eddie and Davey got in that little tiff. I'll be doing this some more in a few.

It's so fucking bad. But now I'm going to have to watch the next episode because it's still available on demand. Luckily, I'll be able to stop soon.

This is the worst TNA has ever been. That includes Cheex, S.E.X. and some country and western star being involved in their early main events.

They had a fatal four way match where only one guy got an entrance. The other three weren't even introduced by the announcers or anything. Their names just got randomly mentioned during the match. It was silly.

I really can't even dare sit through anything with Josh Matthews commentating, much less the Pheonixed abortion that is Impact Wrestling featuring Bruce Bitchard.

Actually Josh Matthews was one of the few things I enjoyed about the episode I watched. Don't care for him usually but as a heel, he was surprisingly entertaining.

TNA had the opportunity to be the cult hit alternative to the WWE and they fucked it up tremendously.

TNA had the opportunity to be the cult hit alternative to the WWE and they fucked it up tremendously.

Several times. They were getting a lot of buzz and Spike was happy with the ratings, then they did the Big an and Monday Night War attempt and fucked that up. Then they had guys like the Hardy's financing their own segments that were getting them buzz and basically told them to fuck off too.

Well done I guess.

I would have been upset by this, but after seeing the "new regime" show, I will sadly conceide that it belongs here.

It's always funny when there is a big to-do about people who "used to be here" when they get big later in WWE. Ring Of Honor is pretty guilty of this, too. The intro here was no different. Kinda seems like a desperate "HEY, WE HAD THOSE GUYS FIRST, REMEMBER?!" Yeah we do remember, TNA, but after years of ineptitude, they found greener pastures.

Unless Josh Matthews is about to transition to a classic heel manager (which would surprisingly work), the pissing match between him and Borash was fucking abysmal with Matthews heeling way too hard, and JB doing so unintentionally (was he supposed to be sympathetic? He sounded about as arrogant as Josh is supposed to be). How the fuck is Elijah Burke the voice of reason and the only guy trying to actually call matches between two supposed "professionals"? He can only do so much, and shouldn't be Play-By-Play AND color while to ninny shitheads talk over him. Sort that out, Impact.

We didn't have to see Bruce and Dutch on TV. The mild pop amid apathy proved that. We don't need to physically see the captain or navigators; just steer the ship in a better direction in the next few weeks. That was two segments that could have been another match.

Oh, and an aside - are the fans "paying customers"? You just had your newly minted heel announcer contradict that.

I still love that Cody is able to go wherever the fuck he wants. Pushing that "independent contractor" status to its limits and having the companies skirt dance around the legalities of using his family name and also going out to do classic heel shit ("...you people don't DESERVE to see Brandi!") is a joy.

I still think "The Destroyer" is a stupid fucking moniker. It was stupid when Lashley used it, and it still sounds stupid to me in the context of Samoa Joe. "Walking Armeggedon" is a little less dumb, and has an advantage of being kinda unique. Bobby still shouldn't talk on the regular, though. He is supposed to be this huge, badass, figurehead of a champion, but yet and still doesn't sound like he believes his own hype, even after all these years. If Josh *does* become a manager, this should be his first client (in a stable formation... don't completely ape Lesnar with a single guy with a single mouthpiece. It will smell of total copycat. Now, if there are -other- people on the roster he also represents, it will seem more Heenan and less Heyman. Especially if they keep rolling with him "trying to keep the sponsors happy with talent they want to see, so fuck the fans!" It has a potential to work, but he needs to dial it down a bit. See my previous criticisims of Eli Drake, and substitute "The Rock" with "Michael Cole's full heel run".

Speaking of Lashley, was this loss supposed to be a face turn? Why am I feeling sorry for a guy who tried to cheat first? Also, when a ref takes a bump and is completely killed, a second ref comes in and continues the officiating. So, why is "wrong ref" suddenly a thing? That flies in the face of understood wrestling logic with no explanation. That'd be like a title changing hands on a countout or DQ without any specified stips beforehand saying so.

They're going to have to work extra hard to rebuild the Knockouts Division again, and with the "talent" they're showcasing at the moment, it looks doubtful they'll catch that lightning again.

There was other stuff that kinda happened. I don't even really remember. Except that I still don't even know: have they ever actually *explained* what "DCC" means, or did that just never matter?

Baby steps, I know. But this show seemed kinda slapdash, even apart from the departures that had to be written around.

TL;DR - the inaugural "Anthem Relaunch" show seems a bit shit, and on par with a backyard fed. Just with an expensive ring.

Overall, I would say it was a SOLID show

I liked Reno Scum, they both have interesting looks, they look/ work like a team. I am kinda disappointed if they're already breaking up the DCC....

The X Division match was ok. I think they shouldn't of made it a four way dance, if it was suppose to be a showcase for Stutter and Allie it should of been one on one

There were ALOT of promos.... and they all pretty much said the same thing.

Interested in the Laurel character, it seems different

Sienna vs Rachel was pretty good, Rachel has a ton of potential and I'm interested in seeing where does Sienna go on her own.

I don't hate that Decay are tag champs again, it was a screwy situation and they did the best they could with what they had.

Alberto vs Lashley was really good, yes Alberto is a "former WWE guy", but he still looks great and is in his prime. Both guys worked really good in the ring together.... could of done without the screwy finish though. Or, if they wanted no conclusive winner they should of just had EC3 interfere

Patt Stryker is somebody who I think if he goes to pro camp could be on NXT pretty fast.

All his moves look weak and dangerous. If by "superstar" you mean continuing to perform in front of ten people who aren't even paying attention, then yes, he will go far, otherwise, the only thing he has written all over him is "complete and utter bellend".

I hope he dies in a backyard wrestling accident.
