"My sister and her children were dressed in full Muslim garb.

I was dressed as Dave Chappelle."

Rewatched "Killing them softly". Classic special but doesn't hold up as much as you'd think. IMO very "goofy" and WAY LESS refined compared to his work now. The "white guy" voice is better now, and he's able to weave in his impressions and zany stories into the framework of a bigger picture much better.

Obviously, Killing them Softly was groundbreaking at the time, and really stamped his name into comedy lore, so it will always get more love, but IMO Dave is better than he's ever been.

I liked his going through the decades joke with the "all the while Bill Cosby was raping 54 women" punchline.

so good. An interweaving the whole set around the 4 times he met OJ was fucking amazing

I watched these and think his stuff is much more refined now. His old stuff will always be classic, but this was really good I thought.

I watched all of his Netflix stuff at the weekend, think there were four to get through but three of them were superb. One of them was actually a bit boring at pointsbut I can't really remember which one it was. I think it was a newer, more political set with fewer jokes.

I hadn't laughed so hard for a long time. I mean you know he has talent but it's even better to see he still has timing and huge balls.

It was like seeing Superman return.
