I'm over the moon that Styles stayed. Styles/Nakamura is definitely happening at some point in the next 12 months.

I really don't think SmackDown has been leveled that horribly, to be honest. I prefer Alexa to Charlotte but that was always a swap I saw happening anyway. Miz is easily their biggest loss but, to me, Owens is a fair replacement for him. And that move almost has to happen because Ambrose went to Raw and Ambrose has been whatever of late.

if SmackDown's getting a big name face to replace Ambrose, I think Finn will be the guy. He returned in the main event last week only to get saddled in a nothing match with Jinder Mahal this week, zero direction was made on him at all. Finn/Styles with Gallows and Anderson also coming over is a very real possibility. And they'll probably get New Day or Enzo/Cass so that tag division will at least have a few more teams.

And either 2 lower tier names to fill out the midcard or someone like Braun and a lower tier guy.

Rollins would have made a lot of sense to move but not after that speech given by Angle.

Since Drifter showed up for RAW, likely means the other rumored call-up is showing up tomorrow for Smackdown

If these really are trades I could see Ambrose for Owens which really doesn't seem like a move Bryan would make but you also wouldn't trade away your mid card champion without getting the other. Alexa for Charlotte which is a fair deal and maybe a steal for Smackdown. Miz and Maryese for Rusev and Lana is pretty easy and explainable. Bray Wyatt doesn't make sense being in the main event but maybe Smackdown gets Braun in return who is now Lesnar's biggest threat with Reigns out.

Going to hold off on judging until they announce who is on Smackdown, but surprised so many of their top stars went to RAW.

Unless some big stars end of on Smackdown, it would appear they've decided to make RAW the official A-Show.

If it is the case (still a big if) then I wonder if it is a reaction to recent RAW ratings?

SmackDown is not without star power in Cena, Orton, Styles, and Namakura - the problem is few of those guys are going to be wrestling week in, week out.

Cena despite what he's said in his promos is clearly a part timer transitioning to the next stage of his life. He'll be back for SummerSlam, the Rumble, etc. but he's gonna have big gaps where he's gone.

Orton by design didn't work all that many matches during the Wyatt Family angle. Now he's champ he'll likely feature a lot more but apparently he doesn't work live events either.

Styles has gone weeks at a time between televised matches in part to try to lessen his workload/heal nagging injuries as he's closing in on 40

And it remains to be seen how Nakamura will be booked but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they had him wrestle on SmackDown sparingly to try to increase the attraction level for his PPV matches

So they almost have to get guys like Owens and Zayn in there to be the "workhorses" who can be booked every week without issue.

• Miz & Maryse to Raw was a big loss to SmackDown. Miz has been top-notch since the split and I think now, he'll be chasing the Intercontinental Championship and whenever Lesnar loses the Universal Championship, Miz will challenge the new champion for it.

Maybe Triple H & Co. have seen how great Miz has been recently and want to give him a World Title run but they got cold feet about giving him another run as WWE Champion (for some reason) so they just thought "Fuck it, we'll give him a run as Universal Champion".

• Ambrose on Raw just reeks of "Shield Reunion". Once Reigns returns and settles things with Strowman, I can see The Shield eventually getting back together. Maybe they'll get together and challenge Strowman to a 3-on-1 Handicap Match?

• My initial reaction to seeing Curt Hawkins on Raw was one of sheer delight. I thought to myself "Maybe this is the beginning of something? A push of some sort". Then Big Show's music hits and I think "Nope, it's just the same old shit" and I was right.

It just left me asking "Why?". What good did that segment do? Big Show is old, he's retiring. What good did him punching a dude in the face do for him?

I have to agree with Outsider.

Another RAW segement where you have to ask what the point was?

Did it make Big Show look good? - No, he's done that a thousand times.
Did it further a fued? - No.

Did it damage Curt Hawkins? - Yes.

So why do it?

• Perkins really needed a heel turn. You can't have a guy act like such a massive twonk like Perkins has been doing and expect people to cheer for him.

The only thing I really want to happen now is Perkins to debut some new heel music. Either your usual type of heel music, or some kindof 16-bit sounding boss theme, like Bowser or a castle level.

• With Charlotte losing clean to Nia Jax, I can really see Charlotte heading to SmackDown.

• Bray going to Raw was a big surprise. After such a long time of me not caring about Bray and giving up on him, I was actually starting to get into him after the brand split and now he's moved to Raw.

I just worry a tiny bit about him working with Bálor, as it's quite obvious we're going to get a lot of cheesy "monsters & demons" stuff going on, with Bálor coming out dressing up in his discount Venom attire when the day comes that we get Bálor vs Wyatt.

• Strowman's attack on Reigns was a thing of beauty.

• I completely forgot all about The Hardys and this "DELETE DELETE DELETE!" bullshit really needs to end.

It's reaching Enzo levels of annoying.

• Bliss is on Raw. :'(

Even though I knew it would happen, it still sucks. Mickie James however, was a surprise. I really wasn't expecting her to move.

• Overall, I feel that SmackDown got bent over and savaged hard.
