The Skyrim/Fallout teams new game: Starfield

The game has actually been in conceptual stages since around Fallout 3's release. It went into pre production officially very low tier pre production after Skyrims Release. After Fallout 4's release it went into full pre production and after all the DLC was out they sped into full development.

The game is going to be a sci fi open world RPG in typical bethesda first person fashion. Its going to feature 5-10 races there's still some debate on what should and shouldn't go in and takes place in the Fallout universe just so far in the future and far away from earth that it'll only be mentioned in hints. This is part of an ongoing planned interconnected universe of every Bethesda franchise. They gave hints of this by implying the Brotherhood of Steel created nirnroot in Fallout 4. They're getting a little wacky with the lore and using "Elder Scrolls time wounds" to justify lore inconsistencies.

Basically Fallout is the beginning of the timeline, Starfield is the middle, and Elder Scrolls is Far Future.

The game will feature space travel and hub worlds aswell as RNG worlds. Its meant to be a test into more sandboxy/minecraft ish AAA thing but with Bethesda gameplay and still actual designed worlds/quests/etc.

They have another Fantasy game of a famous franchise in the works. Game of Thrones and preproduction Elder Scrolls VI and conceptual for Elder Scrols VII which is Todds Magnum Opus.

I don't buy it, but I want it to be true.

According to Sony, new God of War game had several changes made to be more narrative driven instead of hack-and-slash style for gameplay. Want Europe to be a bigger focus for sales with this game which is why the changes were made.

Also their press conference will include several timed exclusive announcements for upcoming games.

The God of War reboot from Sony's Santa Monica studio will be central to this – its new, more narrative-focused, open-world approach with a grizzled, bearded Kratos coming as a direct result of Sony's new global thinking. While always popular in North America, past games in the series just didn't do it for players elsewhere. "It's a franchise that has historically acutely underperformed in Europe," Ryan says. "Hack and slash games tend to not do so well in Europe, so the narrative this time around will make a big difference. European gamers love narrative games. And Singstar."

Alongside God of War Layden confirmed that we'll also see Naughty Dog's Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Insomniac's Spider-Man, Days Gone from Sony's Bend Studio, and Polyphony's Gran Turismo Sport. Sadly, we couldn't get a rise out of him on what InFamous and Sly Cooper developer Sucker Punch is working on, or whether there'll be any word of Sony partnering with FromSoftware on Bloodborne 2. "You can ask," he quipped – but wouldn't say anything further. We may get another glimpse of Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding, though. "We're partnering with him and financing development of Death Stranding. His team has taken the Decima engine that Guerrilla built for Horizon Zero Dawn and they're using that as the base for Death Stranding. Both teams are working from a joint code base now and building on it. It's kind of like a holy grail in game development. Some studios outside of my world have invoked that kind of discipline – "thou shalt all use this engine" – but we've sort of left it to our studios to find the engine they need within the technologies that we have available."

Sony will also be pushing its partnerships, "We have a Call of Duty partnership, a Destiny 2 partnership, Red Dead partnership with Take-Two and Star Wars with EA," says Ryan. While unwilling to specify the nature of these deals, it's likely we'll see trailer premieres at the very least.

I'm betting they're losing money per unit, but the situation they're in, they have to be aggressive.

I'm also going to guess that a PS4 Pro price drop is announced to try and head it off. PS4 obviously still has more momentum, so with a $50 drop, they could probably still sell more Pros than Scorpios even with the power difference.

That's based on the status quo though. The last couple of years has been lean in terms of games from MS. I'm looking forward to their conference probably the most just because of the unknown factor. I have a hunch they've been saving some projects for this moment to launch the Scorpio all guns blazing and so far, all they have announced are Sea of Thieves and Crackdown with the yearly Forza likely as well. No Gears or Halo this year, so they must have some big bombs to drop, surely?

According to a report from Polygon, Microsoft will not be discussing their plans nor new details for their VR headset at E3.
According to a report from Polygon, VR just simply isn't what Xbox is focused on right now. Microsoft technical fellow Alex Kipman said "Our primary focus is making our mixed reality experiences a success on Windows 10 PCs. We believe that right now a Windows PC is the best platform for mixed reality as its open ecosystem and enormous installed base offer the best opportunity for developers, and Windows offers the most choices for consumers."

It seems that a major reason for this is because Microsoft doesn't want to release a VR headset for consoles that isn't wireless. Kipman commented "Given the efforts we have underway on Windows for mixed reality, and our belief that console VR should be wireless, right now we are focused on developing mixed reality experiences for the PC, not on the console."

Three of Atlus' previously Japan-only games for the 3DS are rumored to be getting Western versions announced during E3.
The cat is out of the bag, as the three games in question are SMT: Strange Journey Redux, Etrian Odyssey V, and Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, all for 3DS. Etrian will arrive this fall, while the other two are looking at an early 2018 release. The former isn't even released yet in Japan, where it's known as Deep Strange Journey.

Xbox One Scorpio currently rumored to be arriving on October 13th based on potential Easter eggs discovered in Microsoft's E3 teaser video. Same for its price rumored to be under $400.

At 0:43, the stage has a code on it that reads "X10S101-317." The first four characters, "X10S," seem to be a code for the console. It's probably not an indication of a real name. (My money's still on "Xbox Elite" by the way.) But it's the latter half that's important. Removing the dash, the remaining numbers are "101317," which easily translates to October 13, 2017.

A more far-fetched theory pertains to the price. This video from Red Dragon describes how Googling that string of characters brings up an old edition of Radio Electronics magazine where the cover story is "Build this robot for under $400." This may be a secret message that Scorpio comes in at $399, the price point many believe it needs to hit in order to be successful. (For what it's worth, that Google search is nearly impossible now as those characters bring up news stories from most gaming sites.)

That's not the only Easter egg hiding in these videos. The other one is much more obvious and also kind of aggressive. At 0:28, the tent on the left has writing on it that clearly says "6>4." This is certainly a nod to Scorpio's well-advertised 6 teraflops of computing power compared to PS4 Pro's 4.12.

Totally depends on the game. Like the new wipeout is native 4k 60fps while some games do just upscale. A lot of bigger games like Horizon use 4k textures, but render at 1440p and upscale checkerboard style from there.

Going to be a tough sell since $399 seemed to be the sweet spot for the device and rumored price recently based on a couple websites I usually visit.

With out exclusives as a PS4 owner anything over $250 was too much and outside of america thats going to be true for most. They need titles to sell the system so if spec junkies are your market...why not $500?

You'd be locking out too much of the market just to target to tech junkies while Pro becomes a bit more attractive because of its $399 price even if its not as powerful overall.

Do understand where your coming from since if Microsoft wanted to target PS4 owners, the Scorpio needs to be lower than the Pro due to the library being weaker overall. Regular models are already around the same price especially after Sony's current price cut for E3.

For those interested in The Last Night, game is currently getting hit with a lot of negative online backlash and Microsoft got semi-involved recently due to tweets from the creator implying the game is just his way of bashing feminism and universal wages. Also for messing up the meaning of cyberpunk with some of the other themes and stuff he has planned for the game.

Waypoint and other gaming journalism sites/people hinted at wanting to do interviews with the creator and Microsoft about this situation going on.
