They're saying this won't be a part of the Arrow-verse. LOL. I give it by season 2 he'll join the 3rd crossover event. Seems alright, though I'm not sure how a street gang will fare for long. He's gonna need a heavy hitter to take on.

Looks good. Would have preffered Static Shock. But i will watch all the same.
Looks way better than I was expecting. Special FX look pretty good.

Yeah, I don't see why they just cant give it the Supergirl treatment and make it a different earth. Looks good though.

Technically Supergirl isn't but they just called it another Earth. They will absolutely do it again.

Thought the thread title said Black fighting and i came here to post WORLDSTAR, but never mind.
This looks good. Don't see why it can't already be in the same cw-verse.

Finally remembered to watch this trailer..... actually looking forward to it now..... I like when superheroes deal with a "family" aspect in their lives..... and not the "I have to keep it a secret from them", but in that they all know and it is like "what is life when there is a superhero in the family"

Just watched the first two episodes. Was very good.
In Canada they have it on Netflix weekly, but a week after it plays on tv. So I'm gonna have to wait to catch up fully. I do get a tv station it plays on too so I'll start recording new episodes so I can be up to date and not be a week behind.

I'm finally binging this. Pretty good. Bit preachy but also balanced at least.

I'm a solid 2 and a half seasons behind the Arrowverse. Each show. It's gonna be a long binge. Getting Black Lightning out of the way because so far it's not mixing with the rest of the universe.

Its not a bad watch. Does a lot of things really well. It doesnt beat the audience of the head with a lecture every week. More like bi or tri weekly.

Aside from the big bad of the season going from 'ominous powerful' to 'goofy caricature' in the last two episodes, this was good. The older veteran hero thing was sold well, though there was some visual dissonance with actors that looked his age (or older!) supposedly being his FORMER students. Just kinda odd to see.
There were certain parts that made me feel that this was a show that really wants to be a netflix show, but has to play it soft for tv. I recall this was originally set for Fox tv, but got picked up by CW. That would explain the slightly darker themes, though it's not particularly more violent than Arrow S1.
On the universe tip, clever dialogue has left enough room for this show to eventually merge into the Arrowverse.
