For me, telling a great strory takes priority over whatever DIY would add to either tag division. Given that said tag divisions already have plenty of great talent and yet constantly underutilize them, I doubt DIY would have much of an impact anyway. This will be a much more entertaining route.

Ended up being a really good show considering it was one of the less hyped Takeover events.

They worked magic with those "Who is...?" vignettes for Roddy, the crowd seemed more behind him than ever. Nice little match too. Young & Strong would be a good Tag Team name.

The UK Championship match was really good and well received. It's a different style to what most WWE fans are used to but it helps differentiate the division and breaks up the card. I called a title change here but both men left better than they went in.

The Women's division is getting a little tiresome to me. Probably wasn't necessary for Asuka to pin both challengers, especially with her being a heel now. Ember Moon will end up being the one to dethrone Asuka, but I feel like I don't know anything about her character.

Great showing from Itami. Hopefully gives him the confidence to build on his NXT career.

The tag title match was great too. The heel turn/split will work out great; how many heels are there in NXT that the crowd actually doesn't cheer for? Pete Dunne had a tonne of support earlier in the night despite being an "asshole heel".

There's enough to be keeping the writers busy in the Raw/SDL divisions. American Alpha need something doing with them, Breezango can hopefully move on to something meaningful after this title shot (assuming they don't win), The Revival will be back shortly over on Raw. There may not be many teams on the main brands but there's even fewer that are used well, throwing DIY into the mix now would mean a strong start followed by them becoming part of the scenery in next to no time.

Watched the NXT titke match and Tag Title match. Ladder match was good and Ciampa's turn should be good. NXT title match was good to and I thought Itami had a great showing.

Pumped for an Itami vs Ohno feud. Hope Itami did well enough to impress the officials and keep his job. I thought it was a good match at least. He'd be great as an IC or US title guy on the main roster.
