Maybe fewer matches, but 2 MITB matches will run prob 25 maybe even 30 mins each. Then you'll have Jinder/Orton which will be given its time too so the show will fill out time wise.

Rusev sent in videos to Smackdown saying he would not show up unless Shane gave him a WWE title shot and Mahal is champion now.

Clearly that was when they believed Jinder was a one month stopgap. A good friend of mine text me out of the blue last week as soon as Rusev wasn't on Smackdown as advertised, saying "I'll bet they dropped it because Jinder is going over now". Turns out he was right.

They're not doing Jinder Vs. Rusev, at least not on PPV.
