RAW is in Nashville next week...the plot thickens

She gets advertised by the E as being part of the Kurt Angle special...and next week, conveniently, Kurt Angle will reveal who he has been texting scandalously.

What is Trixie Archer doing in a WWE Ring?!

Is she even "good" on TV... never seen her but heard she is not good on the mic and stuff... If so, why would any1 even want her on the air in WWE

seems like the angle is that Angle is "having an affair" with Stephanie or something

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no, she is not joining WWE

Droford

Angles gonna take over RAW and turn it into TNA RAW with Dixie. And Joe. And AJ Styles. And Roode..and Eric Young and all the other former TNA talent.

Feel like there is absolutely no reason to suspect a correlation between the two things and you are just grasping at straws.

Therefore, I think it is very likely. :shifty:

Her 'yelling voice' she used to cut promos with in TNA can get annoying. She is good at playing a heel from what I remember as long as she avoids her 'yelling voice'

Lol Dixie been telling Kurt what to do behind the scenes because they had an affair and she's blackmailing him. Dixie is then blamed for the shitty state of affairs on RAW.

Freaking Hammerstein Ballroom... the greatest wrestling venue in the world....... Even made that TNA event in that video seem freaking sweet

That segment was pretty weird though... bunch of guys surrounding her as she begs them to stop, then putting her through a table...

Being the manager for her "other nephew", Vance... which also means Vance Archer is back. :shifty:

She's not terrible honestly. She's not that far from Stephanie back in 2010 or so.

IIRC - it was a storyline where she pushed bubba dudley thru a table during a match and kept 'bragging' he could never do the same to her

I remember Claire Lynch turned out to be an "evil crack addict" who drugged AJ Styles into having sex and she was carrying his crack baby

slik

I think the best part was when the dirt sheets revealed TNA found the actress when Dixie was walking around Universal Studios Orlando (where TNA was taped) and thought the lady dressed as the character "Olive Oil" from Popeye in some area of the theme park had the "right look" for an evil crack addict so she offered her the role on the spot...

...Maybe Dixie Carter and Vince McMahon aren't so different after all.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if the WWE introduced her as a character. They did use Eric Bischoff in an on-air role and John Laurinaitis played an active role despite having any sort of useful mic ability. I could definitely see it as a low-level publicity stunt and to help Carter get "one over" on Jarrett.

I'm not taking that as praise.

Remember how the big joke (well, the biggest of many jokes) on TNA was that they would just constantly bring in WWE talent and desperately push them to the moon?

We're close to having a situation where Bobby Roode is NXT champ, Samoa Joe is main eventing Raw PPVs, AJ Styles is main eventing SD PPVs all within months of their debut AND the long-time TNA president is brought in as the big reveal in a main event mystery storyline.

Think about that.

Vince refused to make WCW come off like it was remotely in the same league as WWE. Just imagine what he'd want TNA to look like. The entire invasion angle would probably take place exclusively on Superstars.

A single storyline with Dixie would be ok. I wouldn't want her to be a long-term character the way Eric Bischoff was.

That's a very good point.

Personally, my issue with TNA was never their pool of talent, it was how they booked them. TNA had a history of non-stop angles about "the business" or flat-out copying something WWE had already done...but doing it way shittier.

Yeah. WWE has done the same things though.

Outsider

It's the WWE. If they're teasing Kurt having a mistress it could be Dixie Carter, it could be Stephanie, it could be literally any Diva or it could be a toaster with a face drawn on it.

Don't try and make predictions based on logic and booking sense. Just assume whatever it is will probably be terrible.

A single storyline with Dixie would be ok. I wouldn't want her to be a long-term character the way Eric Bischoff was.

As long as she doesn't come as a package deal with her shitty "Dixie Land" theme, I'd be willing to reluctantly give this a chance.

That's a very good point.

Personally, my issue with TNA was never their pool of talent, it was how they booked them. TNA had a history of non-stop angles about "the business" or flat-out copying something WWE had already done...but doing it way shittier.

... except for the few times where they did things way better than WWE, but then managed to fuck it up anyway with dropped stories, ill-advised swerves, and other random direction changes.

As a side note, I wonder if certain things are a matter of wording and semantics. What I mean is, say Dixie is brought in and TNA is brought up, would it be because TNA basically doesn't exist anymore? It is essentially a non-entity, and at the same time, a sizable non-entity. AJ Styles and Bobby Roode can be former TNA heavyweight champs. Guys like Sting and Christian no longer have huge years' long omissions from their histories if the recent Angle doc is any indication. And then there is this flirtation with re-breaking the Hardys...

Seriously wouldn't be surprised if Vince somehow purchased TNA. Not the company formerly known as or tape libraries or anything like that, mind you, just the IP of "Total Nonstop Action", and we get some TNA logo shirts and legal wrangling of what can and can't be said and used out of the deal.
