Right now WWE has a lot of young talent, and what better way to showcase the future than to have a KOTR tourney? Past winners of the KOTR, who have greatly benefited from winning the tourney, include- Bret Hart, Kurt Angle, Edge, SCSA, Shamrock, Billy Gunn (I know he sux, but after winning the KOTR he had a match with The Rock at Summerslam, so he did get a push), HHH, Brock Lesner. With a KOTR win, these careers were catapulted, and had fans believing that they were seeing a future star.

I propose this- Have an 8-man tourney, 4 from Raw, 4 from Smackdown. The Raw stars will include Randy Orton, Shelton Benjamin, Christian, and Tajiri. Smackdown stars will include John Cena, Rey Mysterio, RVD, and Rene Dupree. The names will be randomly selected for the 1st round. I don't want to describe an entire play out but you can see the possibility of matches the fans could see. The KOTR should be held at Summerslam, and I hated when WWE switched the format of the KOTR tourney to have only 4 participants that KOTR night. Let the fans get to see the winner have 3 matches, because that will not only showcase the talent the WWE wants to push, put will have fans used to the idea of seeing more of this particular star. The winner of this proposed tourney should either be Cena or Orton, but since Smackdown sucks now, the winner should be Cena.

The winner has their coronation, and I would expect that if Cena wins this tourney, that there is an imminent heel turn. Smackdown has only JBL as it's top heel?! With Cena, the crowd will react to him, he puts on matches the crowd can get into, and he is just destined to a star that will carry WWE to its next boom period.

Anyways, the whole KOTR idea can be reintroduced, and can work a tremendous advantage at getting over the current young talent that I previously mentioned. Thoughts, ideas, suggestions, improvements?

I was saying people who the fans remember as benefitting from the KOTR win. While King Mable did win, his career didn't go anywhere, and he is not someone the fans will remember too much as being a former KOTR winner (in the long run that is).

-They should do a KOTR on Raw

-A KOTR on Smackdown.

At the *joint* PPV production, the two KOTR champs face off against one another to determine the REAL KOTR winner.
