* Anthem bought TNA in January

* Anthem renamed TNA as Global Force Wrestling but did not secure the rights to the name Global Force Wrestling from Jeff Jarrett

* Jeff Jarrett has been removed as Chief Creative Officer due to 'personal issues'. Jarrett recently appeared at a wrestling show (TripleMania) and threw tacos at the crowd. Many claimed he was drunk.

* Sports Illustrated -- GFW is hemorrhaging funds, and sources close to the situation have confirmed that Anthem is ready to withdraw itself from the wrestling industry and sell GFW. Anthem even needed to gut the Fight Network in order to finance GFW.

* WWE could be very interested, most likely not to keep TNA/GFW open as a company, but in their tape library.

Really hope wwe buys them out this time. Great stuff in their tape library despite the general awfulness.

Would resolve the matt hardy issue once and for all as well.

Kind of funny Anthem spent all that time fighting with the Hardy's about "Broken" and they didn't even own the naming rights to their own company

Billy Corgan dodged a huge bullet if Anthem already wants out due to money issues. He probably would have been broke after the first 1-2 months of ownership considering his net worth was way smaller than Anthem who I think is worth almost the same as the WWE.

I miss the days when everyone on a wrestling show was drunk/hungover and still put on 5 star matches.

Ahahaha

Fantastic

GREAT SIGN!!!!!!

Looks like GFW has a lot of people interested in investing in it.

A change in ownership might be just what the doctor ordered to freshen things up.

The best brand in the biz looks like it's going to get a whole lot better.

Future's so bright I gotta wear shades.

The new tv deal really helped.

Thank God there is an alternative to bland stodgy WWE.

YOU DESERVE IT!

This company has more resurrections under its belt than The Undertaker.

Its been rebooted more times than Spiderman

The Avatar is jealous of their ability to reincarnate

thats all I got

Real bad timing as the product was just starting to find its identity from all the previous reboots.

But if this is true, Anthem should just call up Vince and "make him an offer he can't refuse."

- Get his hands on the tape library

- Lock up the Hardy's BROKEN rights so creative can get finally get them going

- Access to their talent. Keep whoever they're interested in, everyone else walks.

- ONCE AND FOR ALL KILL OFF TNA/GFW!

- Begin focusing on how to compete with Ring of Honor and New Japan.

Seriously, I can't think of anybody who would have interest in saving this............thing.

What is actually going on?

Fignuts

lol so apparently the merger was never 100% complete and Jarrett still owns the GFW name. So if Jarrett ends up leaving they're back to being impact.

Im ready for them to just go away. Dont get me wrong, Im all for more wrestling companies. Competition makes everything better. But that company is fucked. Id rather the actual talent there move on and make over companies better.

Jeff Jarrett quoting Steve Jobs on Twitter

"I'm convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance"

Well he's got the latter part down... Not sure about"Successful" though.

If its red, not upset as long as I also get a bowl. If its white, tossing it right back at the wrestler.

Rhode Island clam chowder is a bigger offender. It doesn't use cream nor tomatoes for the sauce and instead its usually just water with spices.

McDonald's is the winner. They really do themselves no good with suspending guys while also having them featured on weekly TV with the tapings. Happened earlier in the year with Alberto and now Jarrett. Jeff hasn't been a big part of the weekly shows and probably had the most screen time this week than he's had all year.

Not the biggest fan of Grado but his deportation story has been kind of funny. Coupled with trying to marry Laural who is Canadian and having to call of the wedding. Laural controled herself this week but she'll snap in no time.

Not at all, both are about the most creative part of their respective shows.
