Is there someone in NXT tall enough to fuck up a powerbomb and almost cripple someone for life? That could be a good substitution for your blood thirst.

This will be fucking rad

Makes sense its happening at NXT considering Triple H runs that brand and he probably got tired of trying to convince Vince to do it for the main brands PPVs.

Great place to do it and have it be an annual event from here on out....

HHH being a WCW mark finally paid off. This should be ace.

Surprise run in by Terra Ryzing and I’ll mark the fuck out.

I'm into it. Who else is gonna team with Cole, Fish, and O'Reilly then?

Triple H will allegedly be in India and miss an NXT show for the first time ever. I find that highly “convienant”. I wonder if this is a test run for the main shows. NXT did the “shark cage above the ring” gimmick and then WWE used it on the main shows twice within 6 months.

I wouldn't bank on that too much. That was less a 'test run' and more 'used twice because we had a toy to flog'.

I’m interested to see how the logistics of the match will work. Will it be 2 rings and 1 cage or just a normal cage match setup with War Games rules? A WWE ring is quite bigger than the old NWA/WCW rings, but it’d still be really cramped with 9 wrestlers and 1 referee inside a Steele cage.

WWE helped make the Shield legit but putting them in that crazy TLC match and now they are going to make both of these teams legit. I just feel it. This could be the most fun match of the year. This definitely won't be ballet.

There was no blood in this cage match, and it turned out, well, better than okay.

Just simply one of the greatest cage matches in WWE history.

Thank you in advance.

I'm actually kinda glad they're doing a 1998 style War Games. One drawback to the "classic" War Games format is that the heels pretty much had to win the coin toss so that the heroic babyfaces can be outnumbered and beaten down every time a new heel enters only to come storming back when the next face enters.

"Tried and true" story telling and all that, but it got a bit played out and predictable after a while.

Having three teams in there at least allows you to mix it up a bit more.

My guess is they are paying attention to the analytics of the Network...seeing which matches/shows get the most views & working off that as a way to bolster ratings

I wonder if this War Games match will be falls count anywhere.

You know HHH has wanted to do this for a while regardless.

Lol but I'm not talking about a regular cage match. I agree though, that match is awesome.

For some reason, I think there is going to be blood. Probably a blood pack like they were using on Roman, but I think the visual can work still. I never really minded it was a pack on Roman other than the hilarious sympathy they were trying to garner.

If the fightings fake, may as well make the blood fake.

I've wanted War Games for years, but for some reason I am not that enthused about this. 3 vs. 3 vs. 3 might have something to do with it.
