Roman Reigns probably got the best response on Raw than he's had anywhere over the last three years.

Both of these. He gets the intended reaction as part of The Shield, but on his own, he blows ass. So, we'll make him popular, dammit!!!

I still feel that if they had just turned the man heel in the first place (around the time he got that failed endorsement from The Rock), the fans would be ready for a face turn now... this reunion could have been the perfect catalyst, and they could start reaping those rewards. Instead, it seems more knee-jerk to try to wrangle him into being "the new Cena".

The Shield reunion is most definitely forced. They weren't even the least bit subtle with it.

Miz randomly bringing up the Shield for no reason last week. Then oh hey look, here's Sheamus and Cesaro to attack Roman because reasons. Not hammered home enough for you? Well then here's them doing the fist bump in case you missed the point.

The Shield reunion is forced and I'm sure it's all being done to help Reigns.

Vince & Co. are probably just going to feed guys like The Miz, The Bar, Strowman and so on to The Shield so it makes Reigns look good.

From now until TLC (and even after), I wouldn't be surprised if they keep feeding guys to The Shield as Lesnar appears and starts an angle with them, while Ambrose and Rollins are "sacrificed" to make Reigns looks even better at this point.

We'll see Lesnar/Ambrose at Survivor Series where Lesnar destroys Ambrose, Lesnar/Rollins at Royal Rumble where Lesnar destroys Rollins and then finally we'll see Lesnar/Reigns at WrestleMania, where Reigns comes out on top looking like a God after making Lesnar look like a bitch.

I expect The Shield will stick around until Mania. They'll still maintain elements of their own personalities but I think we'll still get a heaping helping of 6-man tag matches and the group will look pretty much unstoppable when they're on the same page.

Vince will have completely forgotten that Philly rejected Reigns so severely during the 2015 Rumble that not even the Rock could save it. So he'll of course book Roman to win it there again. Rollins and Ambrose will hoist him to a barrage of boos and Vince won't understand why,

The Shield will finally start to look vulnerable when Lesnar kills Rollins and Ambrose in the lead up to Mania, setting up Roman to single-handedly slay the beast in heroic fashion.

Ambrose and Rollins will then be sent to SmackDown in the post-Mania shakeup, unofficially breaking The Shield up again.

3rd straight main event in a row for him, 3rd straight week the last hour improved compared to the previous week.
