I remember seeing a profile for him in WWE magazine, and anxiously watching superstars every week for a chance to see him in action. I never did, and looking at him now it's no surprise. Guy probably had 3 matches before Vince said "GOD DAMN, this is gay as fuck! Get rid of em'!"

The only time I ever saw him was his debut, though. Had that show on VHS. So never actually saw any more with him.

Yeah, especially during his singles run when he had that entrance armor.
Though one does question the combat advantages of half a helmet.

Hilarious in retrospect but when I first started watching wrestling in 1998, I always thought The Disciple looked like this cool badass bodyguard.
Had never heard of Brutus Beefcake, Booty Man, Zodiac or any of his other gimmicks. And when I got around to watching old WWF and WCW tapes and seeing those characters, I obviously would've had no reason to connect them to The Disciple.
Almost fell out of my chair when I found out they were the same person.

They were actually one of the names I was thinking of.
I also thought their theme was pretty cool too.

I watched WWF growing up until like 97 and then started watching WCW as well. I had no idea until the mid 2000's that The Disciple was Brutus Beefcake

Okay, this is a question that has plagued me for years, but I always forget to ask it, just because it really isn't that important.
Is Giant Gonzalez's attire supposed to be hair and skin? Or is it attire set to replicate that? Does anyone even know what I mean?

Remember when when Giant Gonzalez had that happy trail leading to a tiny nub of fur on his crotch instead of the full fur underwear?
That was fucking traumatizing.

La Parka is one of the biggest WCW fuck ups in the history of the company. He was OVER throughout his run while never getting a sustained push
