I figured this thread will give Bean a thread to put everything about the guy in. Then we won't have to read it in the other thread.

So here ya go Bean.

I don't know who he is. :(

He is the guy who has reffed the Timberwolves like 5 times in the playoffs and they lost all five times, controversially. I'll let bean or something go into details, but obviously Outlaw is the only person on the earth that believes he is an un-biased ref.

Seems as though I can't see the games over here  :( I would like to know if this guy really is biased against the wolves or if he is just a terrible ref because the things are two different things.

Also if he really is biased or whether its just people whining that the big teams get all the big calls. In football I know that I fucking think that Man U seem to get officiated differently from everybody else but they also happened to be the best team in the country at that time. As someone who goddamn hates them im obviously going to be biased and say that the refs helped them - but deep down I also know that they deserved to win every time.

Yeah that's pretty much it

He is just a shitty ref alltogether, for all teams

The only thing I like about him is from what I've seen, he doesn't T a guy up much, he usually just talks to them, while other refs (especially here lately) just give them a technical without much thought

Yeah, those T's on Payton and Jackson last night were questionable if you ask me.

I didn't see Jackson do anything, he might have said something I dont know?

Payton had a little something to say, but it's not like it was worse than some of the things that have happened in the series.

I'm honestly not sure if he's just a dickhead with a stupid mustache, or if he's taking orders from David Stern... After all, it's in the NBA's best interest to have LA in as many playoff series as possible, to attract viewers from the league's biggest TV market...

Not saying there's a conspiracy or anything but if anybody tapped Shaq at all, a foul was called.

On the other side, all the Lakers were reaching and not getting called, and fouling and not always getting called.

It wasn't completely BS but it didn't exactly seem unbiased either.

I also hate the Lakers with a passion, but beyond the hate there seems to be a bit of BS reffing...

Also, if I see Payton, George or Kobe complain about another foul that's nowhere near ticky-tack, i'm going to shoot my TV

Your hate/love gets in the way of your sight. :)

Is Crawford doing tonight's game?

If so, i'll watch with an unbiased eye, for the sake of this thread.

No, but that little old fucker is, which is who called 13/14 of the Lakers fouls in that second quarter :nono:

And to think I thought he was a decent enough ref :(

The Outlaw

Also as I have stated, I think Crawford is one of the worst in the league, if not the worst.

I just don't think he has this huge conspiracy against the Wolves. :)

Hey i'm not saying that there's a conspiracy either...

I just think it was a little too uneven.

BTW, this game is a little lopsided on the other side this time. Shaq has 4 fouls, Kobe with 3 in the 3rd quarter. Garnett's in foul trouble too though.

Seems pretty even. Score would say so too.

The replays showed that every Lakers foul was justified

Just because its Malone doing the hacking doesn't mean its legal

BCWWF

I take that back, actually some of them might have been kind of iffy. Shaq's blocking call, although it might have actually been blocking it was one of those where the ref pretty much chooses if he wants to call it.

The Outlaw

It's not that some of them weren't fouls. It's just that they were little touch fouls.

I was surprised they were able to overcome that second quarter.

I blame that on Olowokandi. They had Shaq where they wanted him. They didn't let him shoot, when they fouled him they allowed little chance for the and 1 (Olowokandi did a great job of this in the first quarter). But then in the third Kandi came in and just let Shaq make easy lay-ups over him. Whether Kandi was just retarded or he didn't want to get more fouls, I don't care. Nobody, ABSOLUTELY NOBODY cares if Kandi is available to play late in the 4th quarter. Make him hit Shaq hard and make him earn all his points from the line. Thats really how the Lakers got back into the game.
