Braun is a heel. Just because fans cheer doesn't mean he didn't try to kill two people on the road to Royal Rumble.

Marcus Stroman can be a bit eccentric, but I wouldn't say he's a heel. He pitched pretty well for the Jays last year all things considered.

Is there anyone you want to boo Braun Strowman against? Like, if he powerslams Triple H again are you going to cheer Triple H? Or if he goes against Cena, are you going to cheer Cena? Was the zeitgeist cheering Rhyno on against Braun? How about Kane? Do they dislike his fucking up of Kurt Angle's show and career?

It's pretty obvious, as much as he does nothing for me (and some reason I find the need to clarify that), people love Braun. This is kind of like people maintaining that Bret Hart was the babyface in the States in late 1997.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of Rikishi and I even loved the Funkasaurus. The big, lovable "monster" gimmick is great. Vince needs to see it with EVERYONE though.

The garbage truck stuff didn't bother me because hes never been booked as a 100% serious monster. Hes been a cartoonishly over the top monster from the sart. And the garbage truck stuff, while silly, tied into that at least.

The singing and cello stuff though? No. It humanizes him too much imo. It was funny yeah, but you're sacrificing some of yhat monster mystique for a cheap laugh. Not worth it.

I don't watch most weeks, but Braun doesn't even sound particularly over. He gets "smatters" of cheers. Have I just coincidentally caught bad weeks, or is that what is considered "over" these days?

I typically only watch ppvs and a few highlights from tv, but hes definitely a lot more over than a smattering of cheers.
