Mysterio Jr. believed last night that he had torn his left biceps in a tag team match teaming with Flip Gordon against Joey Mercury & Caleb Konley in Waterbury, Connecticut for Northeast Wrestling.

There was heavy swelling in the arm according to those who saw him after the match but at this point we don't have confirmation of the extent of the injury.

I never bought the Rey/Cena rumors...I still think the Cena/Taker rumors will come true....

If not maybe we can get Cena vs Shane.... ;)

It was never gonna be Rey/Cena at Mania but they certainly were looking at giving him a part time deal which I assumed would culminate with him in the HOF just like Goldberg.

Doubt Liger/Mysterio will happen now at Strong Style Evolved.

They were going to hold off doing Jericho/Natio at that show as it already sold out, but they may do it as a make-good now.

Cena vs Austin vs Hogan is the only match that makes sense.

Cena v. D. Bry - Bella Twins on a pole match, winner gets both.

not a big deal for me. hate that he's hurt, but i'm not a huge fan of Rey. really only liked him in WCW before he lost the mask

Rey made me really love Eddie in their final feud.

I was never a huge fan of Rey Mysterio either. I liked him in his earlier WCW days but that's about it. Given Rey's history of injuries, along with this current one, I think this should put the "lets offer Rey a full time contract" argument to rest. Rey should get a one-time-deal contract at best from here on out. Maybe a Chris Jericho/RVD type deal in the future can be considered as well.

Yeah, no interest in seeing Rey on a full time contract again, phoning it in every week because he's too beat up to care.

But a Rey Mysterio that has enough time off to stay healthy and in as good of shape as he currently looks? Fuck yeah, I'll take that. Lots of people in the WWE right now that I'd love to see against a motivated Rey Mysterio. Styles at the top of the list. Probably one of the last true dream matches left.

I'd be on board for Cena vs. Austin. It's probably too late for a build and I doubt that Austin would be interested in having a match. However, he did state that he'd be willing to come back for the right opponent and for the right amount of money. Have Cena vs. Austin one a one-time deal, have Austin go over, and then play up the whole, "Do I still have what it takes?" deal with Cena in the months following Wrestlemania. As far as the above scenario goes, the WWE will likely have Taker do that instead of Austin (Taker going over Cena).
