Rusev seems likely for the US Title match now too. I'd be pulling for him to win if he were in there. They are going to be leaving barely anyone for the Battle Royal though. They've confirmed it's happening, yeah? It wouldn't surprise me if Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler were also added to the US Title match in order to make it even more a cluster.

I'm not a "fan" of the Battle Royal, per se, but I am a fan of tighter cards. Some of these lower-card matches could probably be scrapped and just included in the BR pretty easily. I mean, I am glad Cesaro is getting spotlighted in a selfish sense, but are the Raw Tag Titles really adding anything? Cesaro going after the trophy again -- with all former winners being entered -- tying his stuff with Sheamus and Braun into it would be a lot more efficient.

Yeah it's been confirmed. For what it's worth, Corbin and Ziggler have already been confirmed for the battle royal along with Mojo Rawley, Matt Hardy, Tye Dillinger, Breezango, and The Revival.

From the Raw side, you still have Elias, Kane, Bray Wyatt, Curt Hawkins, Goldust, Slater & Rhyno, Titus Worldwide, Gallows & Anderson, and The Miztourage not booked.

On SmackDown there is Aiden English, Zack Ryder, Sin Cara, Mike Kanellis, Benjamin & Gable, The Colons, and The Ascension.

That already brings the field to 32.

I'm sure they won't all be in it - Aiden and The Miztourage will likely be accompanying Rusev and The Miz for their matches respectively. Bray Wyatt probably won't be in it selling being "deleted", etc. But they could be replaced by cruiserweights, people from NXT, or guys returning from injury like Big Cass, Jeff Hardy, or Samoa Joe.

Whatever number they're targeting - probably either an even 30 or 34 to match the number of Manias - they should have no problem filling the spots. Shows just how bloated the roster is, really.

In fact, the booking for that is already such a LolWWE move. No one really wants Owens & Zayn to be fired, because they try and play witty and endearing heels. So they're just twisting the emotions of the fans in such weird ways. Why not just have Bryan reinstate Owens & Zayn, announce the match and that they're going to kick their asses so that no one has any mixed feelings about it? OR, reverse the onus. Vince McMahon announces that he's not a fan of Kevin Owens after the headbutt, but if Bryan is going to ever wrestle for the WWE again, he needs to prove that he can still compete at that advanced level -- so if Bryan doesn't win at Mania, his WWE career will be over. Now fans have no reason to cheer for anybody but Daniel Bryan.
