I remember watching it thinking Nakamura has to be on his way out since he didn't have some crazy entrance

Saw this gift coming right after hearing DREAM MATCH shouted dozens of times in the past few weeks.

I think they top that match. Now I know the build hasn't been great and that there probably helps more than anything that's happened on Smackdown but I still feel like they will give them the time for a great match.

Well played

I think I'll watch this match for the first time AFTER the Mania match, just in case they repeat any spots and I won't have any expectations.

Kings Road is meant to be expireinced in sequence ftr. Like watching Godfather 2 without seeing part 1.

Interesting take, but I'm not sure about the carryover between promotions. They have to know there will be a lot of people there who saw the first one though, so you might be onto something there.

NJPW seems more professional than WWE. It's nice not to hear the commentators always bickering with each other.

first time ever seeing this. WWE dont have the nuts to put a match like this on.

My god the IC title was in bad shape at the time.

Yeah, Naito winning it and purposefully destroying it was the beat thing that happened to the belt.

Man Shinsuke has to go down as having TWO of the best ring entrances of all time.

Looking forward to their WrestleMania match. Kind of surreal it is happening. People are going to be shitting themselves because their expectations are low, so they are going to blind-side the fuck out of people. Nakamura has beaten Orton and Cena, won the Rumble and is now challenging for the WWE Title at WrestleMania in his first year with the promotion. If the casual fan still exists (and if they do it is probably in mutant form), it will be interesting to see their reactions to Nakamura after WrestleMania.

Why do you think this match will have low expectations? To me its the only match on the card that I think will be great, which in turn means the match will probably not live up to what I'm expecting.

All I'm reading from people is how shit the build has been and that they should be more excited and that it's shit because it's not going to be the main event.

Isn't that exactly the kind of thing you'd read on the internet about wrestling?

AJ and Nak isn't a heat match its a work match.

Yeah, it is. I actually had that typed up but didn't include it, haha.

It's actually being positioned really well, and it's surreal that it's happening at all.

Yeah I'm just saying though the build has been about the match quality, DREAM MATCH... where as Brock and Lesnar is built on blood and violence.
