A Question about Brock.

In terms of him leaving WM still Universal Champion, I'm just wondering if anyone in WWE history has won either the WWE World, WWE Universal, or WWE Big Gold titles at one Mania, like Brock at 33 last year against Goldberg, and kept it the whole year, and then successfully retained at the Mania the following year(not sure if Hogan from 1985-1987 counts, because he didn't win the title at WM I and keep it all the way through)?

His average length reign is higher than Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Triple H or Steve Austin, as far as multiple champions go. In fact, only Bruno, Hogan and Backlund have it better, but you may consider them as being from a different era.

Savage and Hogan both won it and held it until the next mania, but neither retained. Hogan was champ for the first 3, but he won it before the first Mania.

Cena was real close though, won it at Mania 21, lost it on a MITB cash in by Edge, then won it back 3 weeks later and went on to successfully defend it at Mania and for a few more months after that.
