View Full Version : WWE Investigating Allegations of Sexual Harassments by Randy Orton

WWE is looking into claims that Randy Orton inappropriately touched himself in years past when meeting new writers.

The allegations surfaced this week after a Reddit user revived a story told by Court Bauer during a 2012 edition of the MLW podcast (subscription needed). What follows is the transcription from that user:

"For every new writer that would show up, he come in the room, put his hand down his pants, pull out his d*ck, touch himself, then say "I'm Randy Orton, shake my hand. Oh, you dont want to shake my hand? You're big leaguing me? That's f**ked up man. Should I tell Vince and Steph you wont shake Randy Orton's hand?"

The story went on that during those incidents, writers would continue to feel uncomfortable as Orton cut a promo on them while remaining exposed.

WWE released a brief statement to F4WOnline.com that they are "looking into the matter."

Bauer said he avoided the situation as Stephanie McMahon walked into the room at the time Orton was reaching into his pants. Bauer said the story was true when asked on Twitter Friday, adding in a separate tweet that has "no qualms" with Orton.

The story that was told back in 2012 by Court Bauer on MLW podcast titled “Episode 49: Ribbing & Junk,” alleges that Orton would expose himself when he saw a new writer. The podcast is part of the MLW VIP archives but gained traction this week in a post on Reddit by user CarterVoorhes31.

If this is as legit as the Wellness Policy, Orton will be Universal Champion by Mania.

It'll be interesting to see if this is a come to the table moment for the parties, or whether they don't find "substantial evidence to validate these claims." The "right thing" from a PR perspective is probably for Orton to take some time away and come back and mea culpa Hulk Hogan style: "I didn't realize Court Bauer would get a podcast."

WWE do not need another sex scandal after Moolah and the mid 90's thing.
Not in this climate.

Orton will be Benoit'd out if WWE find out there's any truth to it.
Once the cat is out of the bag publicly there is only ever one outcome now. It's different when they have a chance to kill the credibility beforehand but not with this.

Sounds like people saw the cat bolt a long time ago.

It was then, but they'll probably take a zero tolerance stance given the current political climate. They'll work with Orton on it. "I realize times have changed to the way the business used to work," etc. He'll handle it "well" and then take some time off to get out of the spotlight, rest up, spend some time with his family, then come back because it was just "the boys being the boys" back then. Full pay, keep him happy. But they've got to look "legit" in today's climate.

New allegations against Orton recently surfaced and two other former writers hinted the stuff about Orton pulling out his wiener before shaking hands are true.

In an update, comments made by former WWE Superstar Ken Anderson in a 2017 YouShoot interview have surfaced this week. Anderson also accused Orton of inappropriate action.

"One time I was in the locker room. Everyone had left the building and it was just Randy Orton and I in the locker room," Anderson said. "He was naked and he had just come out of the shower or something and he was naked. I remember my boots were sitting there and he kept dipping his cock into my boot. I was like, 'What are you doing?' He was like, '*ding*' - just dipping his balls and his cock into my boot. He used to do stuff like this and we'd be riding in the car and I'd be like, 'Randy, there's no one else around to find that funny.'"

Former WWE creative writer Kevin Eck addressed the reports on Orton's behavior in a new Sporting News column and said he always avoided a handshake from Orton. Eck wrote:

I don't have any comment on the recent stories about Orton's backstage behavior other than to say that I always avoided shaking hands with him during my time on the WWE creative team ...

Actor Freddie Prinze Jr., who also worked on the WWE creative team a few years back, was asked if he ever shook hands with Orton. Freddie replied:

Hell no!

Brad Shepard reported on his podcast that Orton had a meeting w/ WWE executives backstage before SDLive about the incidents -- he also said don't expect anything to come from the meeting until after SummerSlam, as Vince considers SummerSlam the #2 show of the year -- but it was hinted at that Vince was not happy with the timing BECAUSE he considers SummerSlam the #2 show of the year and Orton might "Feel Vince's wrath" as a result.

Chances of WWE actually punishing Orton for these allegations is very likely slim to none based on recent backstage antics by Orton.

Not only was he openly making jokes about the situation, others backstage were also involved in the joking around.

Randy Orton apparently joked about some of the recent allegations against him during the dark main event at Tuesday's WWE TV tapings in Greenville, South Carolina ...

Orton approached some of the WWE staffers at ringside before the match and offered his hand for a shake, shaking the hand of one guy while laughing. The whole group then broke out in laughter.

This appeared to be a crack at the recent sexual harassment allegations against the WWE veteran. Former WWE writer Court Bauer noted in an older MLW Podcast that Orton would greet new WWE creative writers by putting his hand down his pants, pulling out his penis, touching himself and then introducing himself ...

Those allegations recently resurfaced on Reddit and were picked up by mainstream media outlets. WWE responded to media inquires and noted that they were looking into the matter but it's believed that there will be no action taken. The reaction from Orton and the WWE crew members could be a sign of how the allegations are being looked at within the company.
