Too bad. Was clinging to not too much hope that there would be a miracle and they would work everything out and he would come back.
Yeah! They offered him to defeat Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar to become the Unified Universal and WWE Champion at Mania.

now he can renew his feud with aries in impact
205 Live has never been the same since that glorious feud, has it? That was the pinnacle of the division. There was so much "potential" for the product with respect to the Cruiserweight Classic. Wish it were associated with the NXT brand as opposed to the main roster.

I kind of want to see Neville and Ospreay or Neville and the Villain.
And I'm not even an Ospreay fan.

Dude was unhappy about fighting Aries in front of 70,000 people, but will be cool doing it in front of 2000 on Impact?

The return of the PAC, or will be keep his Neville name, would be awesome if he turns up at All In

Oh I agree, I was specifically talking about Neville facing Aries in TNA.

As long as he isnt exclusive yeah. An exclusive deal with TNA would be a bad move though.

If he does the Bucks/Cody deal of ROH/NJPW/Indy dates, he'd make as much as he did in WWE, maybe more with merch.

he would be like the rest of the inpact wrestlers and work everywhere but wwe. look at pentgon and sami callihan they are all over the place.

Impact really doesn't do exclusive contracts anymore. I believe Aries isn't even under contract. Impact also acts more as a manager for the ones they do have under contract and book them for other companies.

Pentagon was in the main event on Lucha Underground, Impact, and MLW this week plus Triplemania. I really hope the guy doesn't go to WWE.

I think they are still contracted for 3 more seasons of lucha underground so wwe can not get them for a while

If they wanted they could probably get out of the Lucha Underground contract at seasons end but would have to wait so many days before going to WWE.

I want Neville in Suzuki-gun. They technically have three guys in the junior heavyweight division but Desperado/Kanemaru are a tag team and Taka is ZSJ’s hype man. They could use a junior ace in the group.

I want him to debut at All-In, win the battle royal, beat Lethal for the ROH Title later in the night, then face the winner of the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title tourney.
Then he unites the clans.

I want him to win the ROH World Title, the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title and IWGP IC Title. Those titles specifically.

I doubt he got out of his contract without a 90-day no compete clause. Maybe even longer for being naughty.

According to the Observer, WWE is trying to find a way to break that 6 month no-compete clause for Pentagon. Supposedly trying to use the fact that Pentagon wrestles on Impact's tv show as a potential loophole in LU's contract terms.
Mr. Nerfect
08-28-2018, 04:21 AM
WWE will probably get their way. Worst case scenario is that they don't and the hype builds. It's really quite dumb for LU to have them. A lot of the bush league promotions want to pretend that they are WWE. They give a damn about things like trademarking their own names for talent in TNA like the only reason that talent is valuable is anything other than to do with the name they have already built up.
Simple Fan

Impact doesn't trademark talent names anymore. One of the first things Don changed when he came in.

If the contract expired, theres nothing WWE can put at the end of it. The 90-day no compete is when they release you.

Wonder if this is how Flip gets booked for All In: an "impromptu" match with PAC.
Simple Fan
08-29-2018, 03:21 AM
I'll be disappointed if Flip is on All In. I know that appearing on the show is the big pay of for this storyline (maybe) but I'd love to see it go through with him not being booked. Plus I think he'd be great as the new NWA National Champion as a consultation for not being on All In.

I've always assumed Flip was gonna crash the battle royal and win it as an unscheduled participant to get himself a match with Lethal.

According to the Observer, the main reason why WWE refused to release Neville until recently was due to them not wanting to set any precedent in the future if they caved into his demands and also so that NJPW couldn't get him that easily.
Also confirmed the terms of Neville's release did not include a non-compete clause so he's free to work elsewhere without any restrictions.

He has original character, left WWE on his own for his own reasons and didn't jump to the most likely suspect.
Would love to see him work in PROGRESS and AAA.
