On WWE as a whole...things would have to suck all the way across the board to the point where I don't even want the memories of when it was good anymore nor the prospect of a 'youthful exuberance'. Fair analogy, but I would argue that the stuff that goes on down there (ex. titles) are meaningless, as it's just a training camp. There is no real prestige or stakes because it's all just a build for experience on the main roster. Enjoying the match quality and stories is cool and all, but it counts for nothing long term. Couple that with the fact that they can't seem to build their own "homemade" stars (ie the whole point of NXT) and it makes it hollow imo

Someone will come and say "but titles on the main roster mean nothing nowadays too" and I know that, but it shouldn't be the case as is one of the many things that are wrong with RAW

I totally get why people enjoy it though and the network is an awesome deal. It just pains me because I have watched WWF since I was 6-7 years old, consistently, but just can't stomach it nowadays. Even the lows of the new generation were much better that this and with no PPV to sell and no competition, it's only going to get worse.

Probably. I honestly don't know anyone in Australia who watches anymore. My dad had a friend from work who went to a show maybe a year or two back and said "It was boring." Super casual fan. That is the last contact I had. I bring this up because I have no clue how the Australian crowd is going to react. I imagine it'll be all smarks, but not as "clued on." But I can imagine them shitting on this six-man for some reason. Fucking with Braun feels very "un-Australian" and that's a good way to get some resentment. I only cancelled mine last year, so I can't really get too indignant. I just think that anyone that expects anyone in NXT to be handled in a way that doesn't make them, at best, a guilty pleasure on the main roster is kidding themselves. You know the end game. NXT, itself, doesn't matter.

And it's not IF NXT is entertaining. NXT IS VERY entertaining. Almost worth the price of the Network in and of itself. If anything, if I'm obligated to 'help' anything, I could stop watching Raw. But I don't want to. Out of both habit and a morbid curiosity. On WWE as a whole...things would have to suck all the way across the board to the point where I don't even want the memories of when it was good anymore nor the prospect of a 'youthful exuberance'. I'm not going anywhere.

And I guess that's why they're rich. But I'm still having a good time over here.

I lost interest in the weekly television show before I even kept watching PPVs, I think. The Takeovers are usually excellent. Maybe the TV has picked back up? I thought it was pretty standard episodic wrestling, which I can understand being refreshing, but I don't know how super-entertaining it is, especially with the glaring problem of NXT looming overheard (everyone you care about is going to end up on the main roster).

But if you're enjoying it, fine. Good for you. I just can't in good conscience give this company my money and validate their directionless product. NXT filters into Raw and SmackDown, which is just stirred diarrhea constantly.

I think one of the blessings of NXT is that talent cycles through. You can tune in 6 months down the line and there’s been a big shuffle of the card. Go 6 months without watching Raw and things are mostly the same.

There's truth to that, but I think my issue with NXT is that it feels like the same person even though it's not. It's like the latest indy darling shows up and wins the NXT Title, they cry, they lose the belt, everyone hugs, next.
