Have seen Tegan Nox at some local indy shows, tagging with Mark Andrews a couple of times as well as in a pretty brutal match against Pete Dunne. She really is pretty damned good, although I do agree not exactly a stunning debut last night.

WWE clearly are quite high on her though.

Danger is with this second injury that she gets labelled as 'injury prone' and that stops her progressing very far. They could always put her in NXT UK but think they had bigger things in mind for her.

Tegan Nox is the stupidest name in WWE in my opinion. Her debut doesn't impress me, the worst match in the tournament so far.

Rhea Ripley was one of my favs last year. But her match with MJ was pretty lame, didn't like it.

Craven vs Lane was pretty good. Lane botched but she's not Fenix or AR Fox so I'd not be so hard on her. Craven would fit in WWE for they didn't have decent female monsters. Tamina is mediocre, Nia is f'n botchfest.

Satomura's vs Kelly's match was amazing. I appreciate performance from both ladies, there were stiff kicks, awesome manoeuvres, psychology. It was great.

I honestly enjoyed all four matches and am looking forward to the rest of this tournament. Rhea Ripley has improved about forty fold, and that was my first look at Satomura. She's really great. I thought there was a lot to Kraven as well, but I guess only time will tell there.

Haven't finished this week's episode yet but so far have mixed feeling on this year's tournament.

Commentary is way better than last year and Meiko vs Killer Kelly was great but too many abrupt endings and the mismatch in styles and skills feeling a lot more apparent in this year's tournament so far.

Her and the competitor from India pretty much got stashed away back into the PC's developmental system after the 1st MYC was done. Not sure about the one from India but Li did have a bunch of NXT house show matches and maybe 1-2 matches on NXT itself since the end of the 1st MYC.

They pretty much signed her initially just to please the Chinese market. Same for why Ho Ho Lun was signed and managed to win a CWC match even though their Lun experiment ended in big failure.

Taynara Conti is legit terrible, all of her shit is based around twisting fingers for minutes on end as both girls shriek and grimace. It's like watching a match that's nothing but Orton rest holds, but annoyingly loud. She has that quirk of not selling or making any of her opponent's offense look good because she's so OMG LEGIT HARD IRL too.

But she has a round Brazilian ass so 10/10 would bang, she's the future of the company ect. & so on.

She’s had some good matches so far. Her opener against Xia Brookside was a squash that has the effect of showing her off as a favorite, but her quarter final against Deonna Purazzo was pretty dope.

That's one of those situations where the match should have been called off right away instead of letting Nox try to shrug or work around the pain.

She's been alright, but feel like she doesn't have as a good a "look" at Asuka/Kairi/Satomura. Also, they call her the "Genius of the Sky", but her finisher is a plain moonsault that seems to be increasingly missing the target.

So we have Semi-Finals of Toni Storm vs. Meiko Satomura and Rhea Ripley vs. Io Shirai.....


Io Shirai is definitely advancing, as Rhea Ripley was probably not going to make it to the semi-finals if not for injury.

Then I don't think they will have a Japanese vs. Japanese match, so I think Toni Storm will beat Satomura.

Which is a shame. Would much rather have Satomura in the finals.

If it were up to me I'd have Satomura win the tournament, and then have her come in for a short program with Asuka. Asuka challenges the "Final Boss" Satomura because Asuka wants to "get back on track" and prove that she is still "the best".

Essentially, I would use the whole Mae Young Tourney and Satomura to put over Asuka and try to salvage her.

Just watched.... both Semi-Finals matches were really good. Winners went exactly how I thought it would.

I think Rhea Ripley really stepped up considering that she probably wasn't going to be in that spot if Nox didn't get injured.

I see a lot of potential in Rhea Ripley, and I am a fan of her booty.

Dunno why, but I can't picture the finals being better than either of these semi-finals matches.
