I'm inebriated but let me try to do it justice. A combination of old school / simple storytelling without the commentators trying to force the company's agenda down your through. While NXT TV isn't on the same level as the TakeOvers, the 1-hour runtime definitely helps.

Mix of various reasons with the biggest of them not being creatively handcuffed to sudden whims of a single person.

Because they don't have a Vince-like person constantly changing things or wrecking havoc on long term plans, they are able to be more flexible with their booking and have no reason to be constantly fighting the audience to react in only the way they want.

True that they are catering to a different audience but the same could be said for 205 Live and that was pretty terrible for long stretches of time because of Vince's antics and him wanting complete control over everything.

Yeah but 205 and Raw are taped together, so it's a mix. If they had smaller venue, 205 exclusive shows the crowd would come off like NXT's. They are literally there to watch a bunch of cruiserweight do highspots.

They definitely built it up well enough to have it main event TV. That War Raiders match was tight, btw.
