It was either a brick or a cinder block.

Right at his opponent's head.

The opponent was non-kayfabe knocked out cold.

He regained consciousness though, but using a real cinder block to further a storyline isn't a good idea.

And if you pause near the end of the clip, you'll see blood on the floor.

The thrower should spend some time in the pokey because of it.
