Doesn’t seem very different from the previous series. That’s not a bad thing though. I liked them. Though a part of me was hoping for a more drastic change, just for something different. Something with more of a noir-ish visual style closer to the comic.

They couldn't get Ron Perlman back for this?

Never heard of this David Harbour guy. What's his claim to fame?

Not gonna say this is gonna be terrible but whoever was hired to cut this trailer together needs to be fired into the sun.

GDT really only has talent for comic book adaptations.

He's bad at horror, or at least we have very different sympathies in that regard.

Pan's Labyrinth was a bit up its own arse too.

Looks shite.

Gary Oldman's sister plays the old woman in the trailer.

Thought this was supposed to be dark...more attempted humor than the first go around.

It does look a bit like a parody

It looks better than Golden Army but the first is a hard mark to beat.

I liked the first a great deal but Golden Army was just all wrong for me. The slide into lighthearted fantasy just killed my interest. The humour was intolerable.
Thankfully David Harbour haschops, kicks ass and is finally big enough to pull this off. I hope it is good and I'm sure even if it isn't that David Harbour will put in some good work.

I just can't help but feel as though they are dressing him up as Ron Perlman. I know the character has a very clearly defined look but if you told me that that was the costume Ron Perlman was in 15 years ago then I'd have no problem believing you.

Maybe Hellboy will always look like Ron Perlman to me.

Why do you think he got the role?

Because Ron Perlman is fucking cool.
