Up until recently I'd only dabbled in Don Muraco. But Midnight Gertner has shown me the light.
I wouldn't say Don is an all-time great "work rate" guy because he was around at a time where it was okay for him to be pretty lazy but that's not to say he didn't have his share of humdingers. Plus, he was great a pissing off the crowd, was fucking hilarious, and knew his psychology. He had some of the best matches with Hogan I've seen.
And then there's his promos. Having seen a bigger sample size of his work, my mind was blown at his ability as a talker. Just all around oldschool "pro wrestler" to a tee.
Anyways, I suppose I'll be completely unoriginal and post the Jimmy Snuka vs Muraco cage match because it fucking rules and the promos beforehand rule. The match is simple, but it's their ability to make a little bit mean a lot that makes it so effective.

Anyways, post your Don Muraco love here, in the form of vids and comments.
