I discovered the first completely by accident. Saw it on Netflix one day and went "fuck it, I'll give it a shot and if it sucks I'll watch something different."Was not expecting it to be as good/fun as it was. I love them and can't wait for this.

I'm struggling to think of other trilogies that were individually great films.

Can't think of any. I need to see Wick 3 obviously but the first two are to action as remixes are to hip hop. I love John Wick and the mythos around him as a boogie man.
