If he legit squared up on the cops then they should release him.
Why?
Report says they were "talking" to Naomi when he got mad and got out of the car. They were probably bullying and badgering his wife for him to get that pissed off that he wanted to fight them
Sepholio

The cops talking to his misses does not make it OK for him to hop out the car, take his shirt off, and square up on the cop like he's about to fight. Are you literally trying to say that getting mad is a legit justification for going after a cop?

Yes, yelling at a cop if they piss you off or threaten your family is a normal reaction for people who don't see cops as somehow "better than them"
Triple A
02-14-2019, 04:20 PM
Also, he "squared up like he wanted to fight" is according to the cops, who always give their side of the story to make their arrest look "necessary" obviously... Idk what actually happened
But the point is nothing should happen to Jimmy Uso re: WWE

Yelling at a cop? Your entire argument is descending into assumptions that are not supported by the reports as of yet.
Where are you getting that they threatened his family? Yelling? He took of his shirt and got in the cops face and put up his dukes. Not even remotely the same thing.
The cops aren't better than you; they have more authority than you. This line of thinking that its ok to buck on the cops for something as small as they hurt your feelings is the kind of shit that gets people killed. Who gives a fuck if they say something mean to you? If you didn't do anything wrong, sit there and behave yourself and let them do their damn thing. I'd rather have to deal with an asshole cop being a dick to me for a few minutes then try to act like im some kind of tough guy and get my head blown off.

02-14-2019, 04:32 PM
True, but he shouldn't be released at all. If he got that pissed off to get in a cop's face, there must have been a reason is what I'm saying...

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying cops are always innocent keepers of justice. I'm not saying they were right or wrong here, that's why I said IF its true as the report states it, they have to let him go. My whole position on things like this is I am against people doing things that are more likely to get someone killed. In todays climate, bucking on the police will a lot of times get you shot. It may suck, it may be humiliating, but as long as they aren't doing something truly outrageous to you or yours that demands you do something about it, then for real, just let it go so you don't get hurt or imprisoned. That will hurt you and the people who care about you.

Out of curiosity, have you guys seen a full list of what they are charging him with? I haven't seen that yet and would be interested to know. It's usually pretty telling.
Sepholio
02-14-2019, 04:37 PM
Seems like he's probably going to get drunken disorderly. If that's all then no, he shouldn't be released. He's lucky he didn't get tasered apparently.
Sepholio
02-14-2019, 04:39 PM
But he's also entirely wrong here for sure. Naomi driving the wrong way down a one-way street early in the morning, they pull them over and someone reeks of booze. The cops HAD to run her through all the questions/field sobriety stuff at that point and it seems drunken Jimmy lost his shit for minute. The reason I say he deserves a pass and to not be released is because he apparently calmed down on his own after a moment and surrendered to them willingly. If they had to forcefully arrest him, I would prob think different.

Correction: Jimmy was arrested for DUI, then arrested again for driving on a suspended license while on probation for the DUI. Jey was the one who got his own DUI a couple years ago.

Probably nothing. They stopped someone going up the wrong way down a one-way street and Uss was drunk off his tits.

Both Usos have.
I’m surprised WWE doesn’t crack down on those sorts of violations more.

I'm more dumbfounded that WWE isn't concerned about their employees trying to get into Canada with their strict 10 year DUI denial. It's sort of an honor system entry but still.
Def just all fly in on a plane that's approved contractors or something stupid like that.

I’m curious as to what WWE do in this situation with charges pending. Have they ever had someone in this situation before? Do they back Jimmy, or back away from him? Their contracts are coming up too. This can’t be something they are *happy* about. I imagine The Usos are out of Elimination Chamber. Maybe they put Nakamura & Rusev in the spot? Innocent until proven guilty and all that, but the PR perspective is probably to play it safe.
Does AEW even want to do risk the public perception of doing business with them? They seem a little edgier — some casual swearing from Hangman Page and all that. Just seems tricky and sticky when you’ve got masters to please and an image to maintain and/or earn.
Ha, I’d already forgotten about Rusev and Nakamura being a thing.
WWE should not do anything. The Uso's are the best tag team in the WWE. They really should win this Sunday and the Shane/Miz junk should end in a Miz turn. Stick with the program. Fuck the police!
And i'm not trolling when I say THe Uso's are the best tag team. I really love them. I really would hate for this to end badly. That said... If it does...
WHAT TIME DOES AEW COME ON GUYS????

Regardless of whether he was in the right or wrong, what's interesting is WWE's reaction.
Lars Sullivan posted racist comments on a message board years ago and gets fined $10,000. Jimmy Uso gets arrested for DUI (lets just go with that for now) for the second time in a year and WWE just acts like "meh, he's a grown man".

If you're not taught/trained from birth to see the police as authority figures then some serious failures have taken place along the way. It is far and away the safest and best option to do as you're told around police officers. Especially American police officers given their access to firearms and proclivity towards using them around twats that won't do as they're told.
Do this in Spain and they don't shoot you, they fucking beat the shit out of you with the full support of the law. Even lipping off to a Spaniard gets you a good sized smack in the teeth.

Nah I dont agree with this.
Jimmy Uso has been in the WWE for 10 years and he's a 6 time tag champion and the Uso's are probably the best tag team in the world in my opinion. I think his resume speaks for itself. Nothing to do with The Rock.
