This might be what makes me get a Nintendo Switch finally. I never had a Wii U, but one of my sick addictions is watching video game streams and videos on Youtube and Twitch and I watch these guys play Mario Maker all the time. I honestly think these Mario Maker pro's are better than any other type of pro gamers with the exception of maybe Koreans playing Starcraft. I love watching this game get played and I'm 80% sure i'm getting a Switch when it comes out and 100% sure i'll get one if it's a Mario Maker 2 bundle. I cant imagine why they wouldnt bundle it.

It looks like you'll be able to play several different characters and the box cover even shows a Koopa Troopa in what looks like a Mario Kart.

Anyhow, this is toughest Mario Maker level i've ever seen on Youtube. This guy made this level and beat it ( obviously ). I cant believe people are this good at playing Mario.

Nope, that is empirically not why. You're implying the Wii U had anything enjoyable to offer. It did not.

WiiU had a number of great games. Lack of third party support doomed it, but it was far from a worthless console.

It was backwards compatible with the Wii wasnt it? The Wii controls were terrible but the games were good.

Ye it was , you just needed a sensor bar and Wii controllers.

I don't regret buying a Wii U, Mario Maker, BOTW, and SSB4 were quite fun.

Not as worthless as a Wehttam post, at least.
