I'm about halfway through watching the 98 Raws and man does Degeneration X not age well at all. Especially X Pac. They are so unbearable I just want to fast forward through their promos.
On the other side, WCW 2001 is way better than I remember it. Watching a February 2001 Thunder and it's pretty good. Nice segment to set up the Main Event of Thunder, cool Boogie Knights vs Air Raid match, well done locker room segment between Vito and Stasiak to set up a match. I've seen pretty much all the Nitros and Thunder from this time and it's pretty good.

A lot of the bikini contest segments with Jerry perving don't age well....... I am still happy we had them though.

2001 WCW is a good shout. I think the days of WCW ever being serious competition to WWF again were done but had WCW stuck around it would've just gradually become what TNA did anyway.

How about when Vince had Brian Pillman's widow on Raw grilling her with questions like the day after he passed away.

Tim White's series of attempted suicide segments in WWE.
The first one was pretty dark in terms of timing and tone before becoming a running gag that progressivly got more goofier.
On December 18, 2005 White made a controversial on-screen appearance at the Armageddon pay-per-view.[3] In a segment, a "despondent" White was interviewed by SmackDown! reporter Josh Mathews inside the bar he owned, the Friendly Tap in Cumberland, Rhode Island.[3] He was depicted drinking large amounts of alcohol, claiming that the aforementioned Hell in a Cell match "ruined his life."[3] He then proceeded to take a shotgun out from under the bar and, off screen, fired the gun, apparently intending to kill himself. This sketch was considered distasteful, in part due to the death of Eddie Guerrero a month earlier.[3]

I dunno, even as a 13 year old I knew the Katie Vick angle was in very poor taste

I never thought the Katie Vick stuff was offensive only because it was SOOOO over the top that it was clear it was all HHH messing with Kane, not an actual thing that we were supposed to take serious.
Plus Triple H wearing a Kane mask was funny as hell.

DX and elements of ECW were the first things that sprung to mind for me.

This isn’t a super-passionate suggestion, but some of Mark Henry’s comedy stuff during the Attitude era, prior to the hand stuff, was actually really entertaining. I never liked Henry, but I can kind of appreciate it now.

Mae Young's tits at the Rumble.
My old man walked in at like 8am because he heard me howling laughing and went bonkers as if I had ripped Mae Young's top off myself.
In retrospect those may have been prosthetics. I don't really want to check.

I agree with Seanny that Mae Young’s tits didn’t age well.
