Just don't give Hogan Creative Control

"Lemme tell ya something brother, Andre was 1500 pounds when I slammed him. With one arm! I had the power of the Hulkamaniacs that night brother. In front of 125,000 fans at the Pontiac Silverdome!"

Nobody on the planet looks like Hulk Hogan did in his prime. The man looked like a fucking monster.
That said, if you could pick anyone to do it you'd have to pick Chris Hemsworth.

Just get Brooke to do it. It was good enough for Straight Outta Compton.

John Hamm would make a good Vince McMahon... as was discussed for that ridiculous McMahon script.

I hope there is a scene where Hulk is on the verge of choking out Vince McMahon and Vince says "Tell Linda I love her" and Hogan releases his grip, "Your wife is named Linda too?"

I can't wait for the part in the movie where Hulk singlehandedly ends communism by legdropping the Berlin Wall.

Seems it might only cover up till the mid-80s for Hogan's career.

The biopic will not delve into those years or attempt to encompass Hogan's entire life. Instead, sources say it will focus on his rise and is described as an origin story of the Hulkster and Hulkamania.

So AWA to Thunderlips to WWF

Maybe even his initial WWF run if they want to go even farther back for his origins since that is where he got the Hulk Hogan name.

Do run into a few potential issues for narrative if they only present him as being a good guy and having to hide the fact of him facing off against Andre years before their iconic Mania 3 match.

Gotta leave room for a sequel.

Such as when he "pressed the 750lb Andre over his head".

Ever hear hogans story about how the undertaker got his name? He alleges he was in the room when Vince gave him the character, which differs greatly from Calloways story where after meeting Vince he got a phone call a few days later and Vince asked him "is this the undertaker".

I wonder if he'll include the part where he was a potential bassist for Metallica or the part where he never did anything to sabotage other people's careers and was always a team player

In fairness, it's not like Hollywood ever actually tells honest stories. Hulk Hogan is a perfect fit, tbh.

I know that Hogan got Taker into the WWF through No Holds Barred, but I've never heard that lol. Oh Hogan.

Since we have gotten a lot of emails about the Hulk Hogan film that was reported on yesterday by The Hollywood Reporter, it should be pointed out they are very early on in the process of the film.

We are told that Netflix is very high on the project, but no work has been done yet on a screenplay, which will be written by John Pollono (Stronger) and Scott Silver (The Joker).. Once the deal is set in stone, that process will begin and once they are happy with the script, they will jump right into production, but all of that depends on when they get the script to where all sides want it to be.

There has been no additional casting done for the film yet beyond Chris Hemsworth being attached to play Hogan.

So, lots of work still to be done.

Sylvester Stallone should write it. He's the only one who knows exactly how much cheese is the rightamount of cheese for this sort of thing.
