If there was ever anybody's intro that was castrated by the lack of pyro it's him

The "carny charade" thing didnt' bother me so much, considering she is just doing exactly what Brock did when he came back ("bring legitimacy to the WWE Championship"), only she's cutting her own promos and Lesnar has had Heyman do the heavy lifting there for him.

It feels like they're trying to push really hard really fast to an "inevitable" 4 Horsewomen vs 4 Horsewomen. The only thing that got in the way of that (in terms of WWE thinking) is Becky's popularity, and having to counteract that with a heel turn from Charlotte. I mean, they did kill Bayley's "heel turn" (that the crowd was 100% behind) in its crib for them to become first tag champs.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were wanting to just put that to bed, and blow the load on a 4 vs 4 match for WrestleMania with shoehorned, half-ass building. Would make sense to pad that out, let things progress, and try to steer it that way to plant the seeds around Summer Slam and actually have that match at Survivor Series in a traditonal Survivor Series match. Hell, make it full on 5 on 5 and add Asuka (WWE) and Sonya Deville (MMA) for shits and giggles.
