Figured I’d make a thread since I’ve been dabbling in stuff outside of marvel and dc lately.

Good place for Lock Jaw to gush about Saga.

So the new power rangers game has tipped me off to the new comic series. I’m about 20 issues in and it’s fantastic. It’s about the original team that most people here probably grew up watching. The writing is definitely geared toward older fans who grew up with the original series. It begins directly after the green ranger story, with tommy free of Rita’s control, and builds its own alternate history from there. Lots of cool twists and turns. Impressive art as well.

Saga is freaking great. Can't wait for it to come back.

Really enjoy BKV's other title "Paper Girls" as well, but that one is going to be entering its final arc when it comes back.

Also, I’m not a huge Power Rangers fan. I watched the original series as a kid, but lost interest when they did the first sequel series. Turbo I think. Haven’t watched at all since. I know of some characters and events because being into so many nerdy things I inevitably hear about stuff from time to time. But for the most part I didn’t give a fuck about power rangers until I started reading this.

I stopped watching after episode 5 I think. I just cant stand Ellen Page. Or whatever her fucking name is. She's a legit bore. She brought the entire show down. There were exciting seens and she crushed the excitement with her acting. I dont know if that was by design or not but fucking hell, she even ruined Inception for me. That movie was great but she was fucking horrible and her tone just brought it down so much. I cant stand her.

Me too, but I kind of don't want to spoil the show in any way. Though I have heard that they are pretty different, I don't want to take that risk.
