holy fucking crap. This game is seriously the man.

It's a combo of Devil May Cry -- from the environnements and sword fights. And Prince of Persia -- to the wall running and magic and whatnot.
In addition, supreme graphics.
Though the storyline is nothing like either of them. Mostly a revenge game.

People destroy Ryu's village and steal powerful sword.
Ryu kills his way through to the one who stole it.

The game is pretty fucking difficult. It's on normal and it feels like it's a notch above Hard. But I like that. i haven't played a competitive game like that in quite some time. I'd warn those with a temper problem though. At times the game gets so hard you feel like throwing the Xbox controller through a concrete wall. (some probably do ;) )

through the game you access numerous sword slashing combos and attacks and magic powers and shit. I also like the addition of selective weapons you gain through the game. Unlike others, where you get a few and yer stuck with 'em for the rest of the game. this one actually provides some pretty awesome material. Nunchucku scythes :drool:

it also looks pretty lengthy, cause this game is like pretty complex. You need stones to open a door, that puts you through an entire of adventure of search to find them. Each one of them has a distance of about 4 hours to find. Once you did, that opens the door to a whole new environnement and adventures.

Final thoughts: Sick. Xbox owners - Get it.

I heard that it is one of the hardest games ever made. They said that fans wanted a challenge so they attempted to make it so hard that it might not be beatable. But it can be beat because a few of my friends have already dont it.

Well I don't know about "harest game ever made" cause I'm on chapter 6, and it's pretty hard, but I wouldn't label it as "hardest game ever". But I too, have heard that the last few hours of the game are insanely hard.

I got it a few weeks back, really frickin good game, but yeah it's the hardest game I've played for a long long time.

Hardest fucking game i've ever played, got it the day it came out and just now beat it. But seriously, it was just a GREAT GREAT game. Don't rent it, buy it.

Ninja Gaiden is one of the few games (aside from KotOR) that is really tempting me to buy an X-Box. Or, more likely, just convince my roommate to buy the game since he's already got one.

I loved the remake of Shinobi on the PS2, and from what I've played, Ninja Gaiden is like the game Shinobi was really supposed to be. Good, good stuff.

yeah the Military Base is balls. real fucking hard and annoying. Those mini helicopters with lasers had me screaming so fucking hard. I try getting up, then they smack me like 10 feet away, then i get up and they smack me another 10 feet down. then I get on the moving platform and they knock me off it :mad:. I also nearly smashed my controller 'cause of the two tanks that I have to fight. they always kept destroying me :mad:, but then I found a trick without receiving any damage at all. From the first tank at least... I stayed behind one of those boxes that contain the Arrows, not the exposive ones, the others. har har :cool:, then I beat them both. then I died at the helicopter boss and had to start all over again. :| That's what I really hate about the game. The are no checkpoints, only save statues that are few and far between multiple bosses and other hard stuff. :(

Anyway, I beat the helicockpter. I fucked it up the ass with all kinds of arrow explosions. Then I saved and took the game out :o

btw, Buzzkill, how many scarabs did u manage to get? To the part where I am now, I have 19 scarabs. And the old man has given me, a Life of Gods, a Devil thingy and an essence-sucking wrist thingy.
What else does the old fuck give?
