Usually an ACL tear is around 9 months BUT when you tear both it's not unusual to get one repaired and then wait a couple months to fix the other one. If you do both at the same time you basically can't walk.

The injury time for a single ACL tear is 9 months to a year. She tore both. And not to be rude but she's not your typical athlete and is a bit on the heavy side. I imagine a year would be a very early estimate in reality for her return. In fact with it being a double ACL tear....she may very well be done.

It did seem for a little bit that she was going to be paired up with Undisputed Era but that potential storyline got abruptly dropped.

I'd assume they probably just relegated her back to house show tier which is one below tv ready tier. Once the current batch of women start getting called up, she will probably start to appear on tv a lot more often.

I agree, it's not like she even had knee braces on at Mania.

That being said, if somebody had a partial tear in one knee, they could potentially work around it. You can even run straight on it, but turning, pivoting, moving laterally, there is no way.

Again, that is ONE knee.

There is no way it is physically possible to do it on two bad legs, so unless Nia tore them both after her Mania match was ended, then she doesn't have two torn ACLs.

My best guess is she is getting her knees cleaned up as they say, and is taking an extended vacation since she has been losing the last 6 months and has nothing going on right now.

I can see her coming back, getting one more push, and then probably calling it quits. I certainly don't see her grinding out 10+ year career like Tamina that's for sure.

Its also a possibility that she tore her LACL and thinks they are the same thing. I honestly didnt know better until I tore my LACL. I was walking around on it as soobln as it happened albeit in excrutiating pain. Was supposed to use crutches but put on an air cast instead and was walking fine within a couple days. Def took several months to fully heal though and mine wasnt a bad tear either. Just a thought i had as to how she may have been able to tough it out a little.
