I was pleasantly surprised by the start to Raw; short, snappy promo from the babyface champion taking no shit. Then they ran into the ground and by the time he smashed Eric Young for no reason he just came off as a dick.

Miz attacking Elis made sense due to the Miz/Shane situation, Bobby attacking him makes sense as they had a long-standing rivalry at the start of the year (if not for the fact they teamed together 4 weeks ago) but it lost me when Cesaro, and then Ricochet, and Braun did the same.

I thought the elimination rule on the 5 way was a bit risky as those are 5 guys you’d want to keep strong (if keeping people strong was a thing a wrestling company actually wanted to do) but if they parlay the stuff with Cesaro attacking Braun after he was eliminated I could get over it.

The only other thing was the flagrant disregard for the Wildcard rule but at this point who’s surprised?
