NXT Breakout Tournament starts this week.
Shirai/Baszler in a Steel Cage for the title.
It's the best hour of wrestling on American TV. LET'S GO.

P good match to start the tournament. I've seen Garza wrestle live before he is deceptively large for a luchador and is so smooth in the ring. Kind of get an Andrade vibe from him.

Street Profits ridiculously over.
Love Keith Lee. Basically an angry grizzly bear that can do flips.

Io’s best character work in Stardom was as a heel, so this should be good.

This guy is still not my cup of tea. Even now with the "new" look and being in a different company, I still can't tell the difference between him and Shane Taylor. But with that said, just because *I* don't see it doesn't mean it's not working for him. I wasn't high on Rusev either, and he's like a TPWW posterboy now.

The cage match between Io and Baszler was pretty great.
Io's sudden heel turn managed to salvage the dire direction of NXT's Women's division under Baszler's stranglehold on top.

Baszler is a better heel than most of the people in the entire company. And her matches are enjoyable. No problem with her being on top for so long. I was disappointed in them passing over Io at first, but it's worth it for the heel turn. BITCH Io is fucking great.

She's developed really well as a heel but feel the biggest problems are the booking of her matches have started to become stale and NXT has done a pretty poor job building up others to actually be on her level. It seemed for a while Kairi Sane was going to be her rival in status but they threw that away once the Four Horsewomen stuff started to happen.
Its something that also plagued Asuka's time on top but in her case, she was the legit most talented and best star in the division while the rest of the division was weaker in overall talent and credibility than in Baszler's time.
