I'm absolutely gutted to have to deliver this news but I'd rather it come directly from me. In a nightmare scenario, a serious case of MRSA has returned in my elbow. The timing couldn't be worse. In this circumstance I am forced to pull out of the fight 8/31 vs Omega at All Out .

Okay let's see what AEW has up their sleeve now.

It's gotta be Punk right?

I dunno, Punk is trying to get the gig with Fox to do the talk show on FS1. Don't see him suddenly choosing now to come back after all the opportunity he's had to do so, especially if it costs him the gig he does seem interested in.

Just hope this doesn't end up with him being pulled like they did at Double or Nothing and Fyter Fest.

Feel like Omega vs Moxley will now be the main event of the first episode on TNT.

It's Pac until they tell him Omega is going over, then he will back out

Also, given his history of staff infections, Moxley might want to stay away from hardcore cutting himself up matches since once you have MRSA you are more likely to get it again.

Feel bad for Moxley but PAC vs Omega should be really great.

This is a fucking bummer. But it'll build anticipation to the tv debut and having a main event that big is actually great for AEW.

"Hey, you're still going over, but it's going to be competitive. It's not gonna be a squash, we need Kenny to look strong in defeat."

Neville isn't the Dragon Gate champion anymore, which is why he didn't want to lose. But don't let facts shit on y'alls narrative.

Apparently Fenix has done something to his leg too. Apparently it looked really bad (like a break), but people are saying that it's not broken and he's "okay."

As someone going to the show it is a hit but that was probably the 4th match on my list behind the AEW Championship match, Bucks/Lucha Bros
Ladder match, and Cody vs Spears, which is what I'm most interested in. Omega vs PAC is a good replacement though and makes up for PAC missing the previous shows.

This is my thought, would be a great counter to NXT that is 2 weeks ahead if that is the main for their TNT debut.

Also glad it isn't him. Not a big CM Punk fan and while I get the Chicago part of it I have no desire to see CM Punk in AEW.

Damnit, now PAC is going to have a visa issue because of Trump and it will be Punk.

Come on....you don't want to be in that crowd to see them erupt if Punk is there??
I was at Money in the Bank 2011 and I never need to go to another wrestling show.

The PAC replacement is a solid if not better replacement for Mox. I'm not less interested in the least. Maybe more interested because that's a guy they could have used for a "surprise" if they wanted so I'm hoping that it puts just that much more pressure on them to sign Punk if they want to make a big splash at All Out.

Between the Moxley and Fenix injuries, can easily see AEW become more strict when it comes to allowing their talent to work non-AEW shows as a precaution.
WWE already does something similar for NXT where they don't allow their talent to work indie shows if its within a week or so of NXT shows in order to prevent last minute injuries from happening.

Almost everyone signed to AEW is exclusive to AEW (at least in USA) starting the day of their first TV show

Kinda feel like they were planning on having PAC run in and attack Omega or something after the Moxley match at All Out as a big surprise, which would have been cool...

According to PWI, PAC was always planned to appear at All Out but not in a wrestling role prior to Moxley's injury.
“We are told that PAC’s issues were resolved several weeks back and he was always slated to appear (but not wrestle) next weekend to unveil he was finally coming to AEW. With Moxley out due to a MRSA staph infection, PAC will now make his AEW in-ring debut as the promotion tries to make the best out of an extremely unfortunate situation.”
Also seems WWE really underestimated how much Moxley didn't like being in the company since they had plans to sign him to a new deal prior to the end of this year and have him make his return at the 2020 Rumble.
