While you are 100% right, given the build up, even without Rey winning or having a stellar match, I felt the payoff of Rey and Dominic getting some payback was satisfying.

This is classic Vince booking. Becky vs Ronda had all the buzz last year, and since it didn't happen here comes Vince striking when the iron that was hot has cooled significantly.

Probably just fatigue considering some have been there since 5PM and one of the Survivor Series matches should have closed out the show instead.

Also very little real stakes on the line due to WWE being stupid by having NXT get 3 wins early instead of with the final match. Only other result possible is SD tying NXT but then that defeats the whole purpose of bragging rights for the winning brand.

Main event sucked big time. Survivor Series was pretty good for the most part but both Women's matches were very underwhelming.

NXT having more wins than RAW and SD combined just reeks of desperation by WWE because of the situation with AEW and probably Triple H doing his best to make sure his brand didn't look weak via main roster booking.

I still can't get over how they handled WALTER. NXT UK champion, undefeated for almost a year, always booked to look like a legit threat, and they have him get pinned in 3 minutes.

If I'm trying to rationalize it - as long as he still wishes to stay in Europe and not move to the US his ceiling in the company is never going to be all that high. But still, that was pretty egregious.

To be fair, he did get pinned to one of the truly protected finishers they have left. It is stupid he was eliminated first though. If that was the case they could have just run somebody like Kassius Ohno out there, but at least he didn't lose to like a rollup from Gable or Ali.
