This happened on the last Smackdown! episode, so if this is still considered a spoiler, stop reading.

Mordecai said in his last promo/vignette that he has singled out someone on his 'crusade'. The easiest assumption is that it is the Undertaker, and they will finally have the feud that everyone has been waiting for. Do you guys think that Mordecai has squashed enough guys, and has wrestled well enough so far to get such a high profile feud so early? I think that he has impressed me in his squashes, but the WWE is notorious for bringing up guys when they are too green.

If you don't think that he has singled out the Undertaker, any ideas on who it is?

I think it will be Bob Holly for being such a stiff worker. :shifty:

Eddie Guerrero for actually being talented.

Yeah that could cost him his title.

Probly be someone like Shannon Moore or some other Crusierweight. Maybe he'll start a group kind of like Taker's Ministry? That would be cool

Ummm probably billy.

Stickman

Probably Rey Mysterio. Mordecai only fights cruisers.

LOL @ lots of these replies.

Do you guys think that Mordecai is still green though, or can he hang with the big boys already?

Kane Knight

He doesn't need to do much...Even less than Goldberg. Cut a promo, don't sell, finisher.

Okay, a little more than Goldberg. Goldberg's "growl, growl, spear!!!!!!! BAH GAWD SPEAR!!!!!! JACKHAMMER!"

Kane Knight

In other words, green or not, he should be able to hang with his current gimmick.

Mayo

Yeah that makes enough sense. He's got a gimmick thats too freakin cool for even a fresh wrestler to screw up. Just look at JBL, even he got into the main event slot with a good gimmick.

I just hope that Mordecai doesn't disappoint in the ring for longer matches, just like JBL.

Hopefully matches with him won't be that long anyways. If the news/rumours are true, he's been told to sell less, which would make for a boring long-term match...

But make it pretty cool for a squash...

I wouldn't be shocked to see him fued with Cena

YOU GAVE ME A GREAT IDEA!

The WWE LOVES bringing politics into the ring, right? So he can use Falwel's whole "September 11 is the fault of the gays, women who wear pants, etc." thing. He'll demolish Rico, then a bunch of women, and then make a face turn by saying he did it for America, because THEY caused 9-11.

And the kicker is...It's actually MORE tasteful than several of their political angles. :nono:

Meh, Mordecai is a great character, but he's not ready for the Undertaker. He's built some attention, but the casual fan isn't paying to see him. They aren't watching the show to see him. Until he garners some of the interest (which could be in as little as a month or two) then he's not ready for a high profile feud.

So far that's the best idea I've heard. Jindrak needs someone to work with, also.

Thats a good idea TheOneLameGunn, but I think that both guys are too fresh onto the WWE scene, and feeding somebody relatively unknown to Mordecai wouldn't do him too well. They should give him someone thats been around for a while, and who isn't too popular at the moment so that Mordecai gets more credibility.

But why should they punish the fans more by making us watch Hardcore Holly get his ass handed to him? Haven't we suffered enough at the hands of that man?

I don't think he'll target Taker YET. He'll prolly kill a credible midcarder before that, then move onto Taker after the Bash.

I predict Mordecai will kill some dog like Fifi. Imagine the video for that...

One is a man on a mission.

One is a cute black poodle.

Now, the saying that dogs are men's best friend does not matter anymore.

Mordecai. The man who not stop in his crusade.

Fifi. The anti-American dog underdog.

At the Great American Bash, these two icons will take on each other.

Mordecai. Fifi. The Bash.

I don't think that Undertaker and Mordecai should feud for a while. They sjhould build up a huge feud leading to Wrestlemania XXI

Mordecai going through all the deadly sins would be a great angle.

So should we have him destroy Bradshaw for avarice?

And bring back Mark Henry for a one night appearance to get killed for gluttony, of course.

Last time they did an angle like this, it was King Mabel, so I'm going with him.

Yeah, that could work - Kevin Nash for sloth, Jerry Lawler for lust, Hardcore Holly for envy ("damnit, I've been here ten years, it's my turn for a push), Shawn Michaels for pride and, of course, Wrath for wrath.

Couldn't they just kill Rikishi for gluttony?
