They should have just done a "Best of Show" for next week and save tonight's crowd from being more dead tired or bored than usual during the 2nd tapings.
NXT had the same problem when they used to tape a month's worth of episodes in one night and the last show was always the weakest in terms of reactions since the crowd was exhausted by that point.

Rollins promo was whatever.

I have never really loved Anderson and Gallows in WWE. I feel like Gallows legs are so shot it ruins him for me.

Vikings vs. OC was way better than their match last night although OC winning just makes last night's double countout finish even more dumber now.
I predict Eric Rowan is carrying the spirit/essence of Liv Morgan in his cage.

The mystery with the cage has been somewhat interesting but my main issue is how his storyline has barely been moving along for weeks.
They pretty much hit the reset button on him after the Reigns & Bryan stuff and isn't really going in any direction since then.

Lana pulling off being a legit annoying person to listen to role very well has been arguably the only good thing about this storyline besides Rusev wearing a Donald Duck shirt last week.
Also what a waste of time that segment was.

Tozawa vs. Ricochet portion of this Gauntlet match should have been way more entertaining than it was.
Considering both guys excel in fast pace high flying action, it was dumb to have that match be booked mostly as a slow paced one.

Saints fighting for a top 2 seed in the NFC while Colts fighting to stay in the race for the last playoff spot in the AFC.

This might be the worst WWE gauntlet match in a long time.
Outside of a couple brief moments, its just been dragging along and been mostly boring overall.
The Kofi and Rollins Gauntlet matches were like 10x more entertaining than this one soo far.

The whole payoff for the Gauntlet match was just so Rollins could randomly beat up Rey Mysterio in the end despite the whole reason for the match was to find out who would challenge Mysterio next for his US title.
They couldn't even get the #1 contender's part right since the whole thing ended in a no contest.

Unless Purrazzo got suddenly promoted and/or is going to show up more often on RAW, kind of dumb to have this be a competitive match since its not really helping Asuka.
Wouldn't be surprised if Triple H demanded for NXT to not look weak if they were going to be used as jobbers on the main roster.

Jesus, I tried but I couldn't even stand 5 minutes of this RAW shit show. The fact that USA pays WWE for this awful shit is nothing but mere proof of how awful USA's own original programming is. No wonder WWE has a huge 50+ age viewer base... you've got to be near/expecting/wishing for death and/or have dementia to be able sit through a single segment without changing the channel.

Main event was good but RAW was mostly bad overall. Only good stuff that happened was the tag team match and Orton vs. Styles. Everything else ranged from terrible to mostly dull.
Either Vince didn't care about going over or USA Network is back to giving RAW an over-run.

So three good things that happened during the past 3 hours.

* Christmas Tree decorations are around the stage. Jimmy Fallon wishes everyone a Merry Christmas via video on the screen.
1 - Kevin Owens defeated Mojo Rawley in a Christmas Street Fight. Seth Rollins/AOP attacked KO post-match.
2 - Bobby Lashley defeated Cedric Alexander. Lana announced during the match that their wedding would take place next week.
3 - Drew McIntyre defeated Zack Ryder.
* Becky Lynch cut a promo and issued a challenge to Asuka for a singles match. Asuka comes out and the match is agreed on for a later date but not made official for any event. Lynch told Asuka to name the place and time.
4 - Ricochet defeated Tony Nese.
5 - Aleister Black defeated a local enhancement talent.
6 - Buddy Murphy also defeated a local enhancement talent as Black watched. Black vs Murphy was announced for the next week.
7 - Charlotte Flair defeated WWE NXT Superstar Chelsea Green.
8 - The OC defeated Randy Orton/The Viking Raiders when Styles got the pin on Orton.
9 - Erick Rowan squashed a local enhancement talent
10 - Rusev defeated No Way Jose.
11 - Rey Mysterio defeated Seth Rollins via DQ after the AOP interfered. They went to put Rey through the announce table but Samoa Joe wouldn't move for them. AOP beat Joe down and Rollins hit a Curb Stomp on Mysterio. AOP and Seth Rollins posed to end the show.

Post Wrestling's Rewind-A-RAW show didn't hold back on how much they hated the non-finish to the almost hour long Gauntlet match. Also one of the shortest ever episodes in terms of the actual review portion.
Maybe even hated more than the disaster of a Hell in a Cell match between Rollins and The Fiend at Hell in a Cell this past October.
Pollock - "If I didn't have to review this show, I probably would have turned the TV off after that match and not watched again for a month."
