Friday Night SmackDown preview, Jan. 10, 2020: The Usos return to in-ring competition this Friday on SmackDown against King Corbin & Dolph Ziggler

A trio of notable returns on the year's first episode set the stage for a wild SmackDown as The Usos get back into the ring against King Corbin & Dolph Ziggler, and John Morrison joins "Miz TV" to expand on last week's appearance. Lacey Evans also faces Sasha Banks as the rivalry heats up.

The lack of crowd reaction Morrison got for his return entrance was pretty bad. Opening promo segment was also pretty meh but at least it wasn't King Corbin level of bad.

Don't know why they just didn't bother holding Morrison off for another couple of weeks for the massive Rumble return pop but then again Bruce Prichard rather just channel his inner Vince for dumb booking decisions.

Miz locked on one of the worst ever Figure Fours to Kofi. Literally didn't even bother locking his legs together to finish the hold.

Also the match itself was meh to decent at best.

That might have been the worst Elias musical segment.

This Mandy & Otis relationship storyline has been a ton better than RAW's dump of a relationship storyline with Lana, Rusev, & Lashley.

That was a weird production botch during the Alexa & Nikki promo video.

:lol: at Otis randomly coming out during this Bliss vs. Mandy match.

Match itself was average at best and better than the ones Mandy had been involved in a while.

That Lacey promo might have been among the worst and/or dumbest in years in WWE. Everything about the setup for it was bad and same for her handling of it.

Then again that whole segment with Bayley already a contender for worst of 2020.

Been a pretty boring show soo far as well.

Strowman vs. Nakamura was pretty good overall.

Also the first good thing to happen tonight outside of Bray's Firefly Fun House stuff.

WWE should get Lizzo to appear on SmackDown

Main event tag match sucked. Post-match beatdown was the only good thing about the last 20 minutes or so.

Smackdown itself was pretty bad tonight and you'd be better off just reading the results since nothing of real importance happened.

Don't even care about watching 205 Live anymore to wash away Smackdown's stink tonight.
