KAYFABE MAN, YOU HAVE A LOT OF WORK TO DO. WHERE ARE YOU?

KayfabeMan
05-31-2004, 12:30 AM
In KayfabeMan fashion,I will try to answer as many of these as I can.

Nicole Bass lives in Queens,NY with her husband and stepchild. She
is a nice woman (no matter what anyone says), and has not been
involved in wrestling all that much lately.

Tori was let go by/decided to leave WWF due to: them not having
anything to do with her, and her being tired of being on the road.
She was/is living with her husband in Oregon somewhere.

Lodi recently returned to the indy scene in the Carolinas after being
away from wrestling due to various injuries and other things. He also
(unfortunately) lost his apartment, and most of his possessions, in a
fire in his building recently.

George "The Animal" Steele is semi-retired and lives in Northern FL.
He runs a home-based business, and is involved in local groups and
his church. Also a very nice guy :y:

"Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff is out of wrestling, and lives in GA.He
used to own (and may still own) several bowling alleys.

Tony Schiavone still lives in GA,and in addition to coaching young
baseball players, also does commentary for the Atlanta Braves on
radio.

Captain Lou Albano lives in Northern NY,and has been involved in
the PWHoF in NY. He was having health problems earlier this year,
so I hope/think he's doing OK now.

Mr. Fuji lives in TN somewhere and works as a greeter/helper in a
movie theater. Not much else that I know about him; wish I did.

Duke "The Dumpster" Droese used to teach/wrestle in FL,where he
used to live; after getting tired of the B.S. on their indy scene, he
split - I believe for Alabama where he has family.

Chainz is Brian Lee,who is/was working with NWA-TNA. After being
in ECW for a while, and then working as the Fake Undertaker,Chainz
was his biggest deal before NWA-TNA.

Rick Martel lives in Canada,I believe Quebec, and works in real estate.

Repo Man lives in MN,and works there for a big corporation there. He
supposedly makes a lot of money there, and to my knowledge hasn't
wrestled since the WM Gimmick Royal. He's an account executive.

Salvatore Sincere (aka Tom Brandi) bought the rights to The Patriot
gimmick from Del Wilkes and uses it on the indy scene to make extra
cash. He still works, and can do double shots,as either Sal Sincere or
Tom Brandi, and then work the same show as The Patriot.

Hope that helped a bit; keep 'em coming, and I'll keep on trying.

Like WM said,Todd has a radio show in NY. You can visit his site at:
www.ToddsCDs.com

Savio Vega works for/books for IWA Puerto Rico where he is the ma-
in heel. They refer to him as "The Boss". IWA-PR comes on Sunshine
Network in The US (I think on Friday nights). You can see him there.

Crush lives in Hawaii and made an appearance at a big indy show th-
ere earlier this year. He also appeared alongside Macho Man late last
year at one of Macho's rap performances in Florida.

Ahmed Johnson lives in TX & sometimes works indy shows there. He
is supposedly fatter than when he was in WCW. He's also an asshole.

Skip of The BodyDonnas was Chris Candido of ECW fame. After leav-
ing WWF,he went to ECW,and then WCW briefly, before he and Sunny
were let go for drug abuse. After his infamous "collapsing in the ring"
incident,he went to Puerto Rico, before coming back to work regularly
in NJ/NY.

Bushwhacker Butch lives in Florida, and had some big health problems
a while back. I'm not sure how he's doing now - hopefully well. Luke,
IIRC,lives in Puerto Rico (although he may be in Australia or Florida).

Man Mountain Rock (aka Maxx Payne) is out of wrestling, but can be
seen at his website www.MaxxPayne.com ,which usually he updates.

Bill Dundee lives in TN (last I heard), but I don't know what he does
now. If I hear anything on him, I'll post it here (or somewhere here).

Dutch Mantell was working with IWA-PR,but now works with NWA-
TNA in a booking/backstage capacity. He's overrated,in my opinion.

Warlord lives in South Florida, and is in great shape. He has a com-
puter related job I believe, & works for FL-based indies sometimes.
He also travels around quite a bit - and IIRC - has two children.

Barbarian lives in NC,and works very regularly there and in VA,WV,
etc.. He sometimes goes to FL to reform "The Powers of Pain" with
Warlord. Very cool guy :y:

Gangrel is still married to Luna Vachon, and they live in north Florida.
He works mainly for FL indies every now and then, but not too much.

Zip of the Boddy Donnas is now better known as Fit Finlay, road agent for the WWE (I'm sure if I'm remembering incorrectly that someone will beat me down.)

Also,I will now beat you down

Zip is actually Dr.Tom Prichard - who is a road agent,etc.. for WWE.

Whatever happened to B.B. And I thought Ken Shamrock was coming back?

Longshot
05-31-2004, 04:22 PM
I believe B.B. was only in the WWF because of favor to Hardcore Holly. When they broke up the WWF obviously didnt want to keep her around.

Not sure about Shamrock however.

Kayfabeman, how do you get all this info? It's really cool :y: Besides finding out what these people are doing today, I'd like to know why they're no longer in the company. Were they fired or did they quit?

Pettengill has a radio show in New York.

Yes it's called Scott and Todd in the Mourning, and it is the biggest waste of radio airwaves since that Barbie Girl Song.

KayfabeMan

The Killer Bees (B.Brian Blair & Jumpin' Jim Brunzell) will be
doing severalautograph shows soon. Brian lives in northern
FL,and has made an attempt or two to run for local office.
You can visit his political website at: www.BrianBlair.com
or his wrestling website at: www.BBrianBlair.com

Jim Powers lives in northern Florida I believe,& was working
as a personal trainer. I'm not sure if he's still doing that or
not,but I believe so.

King Kong Bundy still takes lots of indy bookings and makes
appearances. He has a website of his own,but it escapes me
at the moment (it may be KingKongBundy.com).

Hillbilly Jim still works for WWE's home video promotional de-
partment. He makes lots personal appearances for them, and
handles fan relations. He's a really cool guy,who helps to bridge
the gap between old & new fans.

Ole Anderson lives in GA,and was working as a roofer before
being injured. He recently has written and released a book,&
makes appearances now and then (mainly in the GA area -
most recently at an NWA Wildside show).

Barry Horowitz lives in north FL,and sometimes works indies
in FL. He also used to host a wrestling radio show in FL as
well. He stays fairly active.

"Sweet" Stan Lane lives in N.Florida and used to be involved
in speedboat racing, both participating and doing commentary.
I believe he even worked on ESPN doing commentary for races.
Cool guy :y:

Lord Alfred Hayes has had some bad health problems, and looks
nothing like he used to. Last I saw of him he was in a wheelchair.
I feel bad for him :(

Billy Jack Haynes is MIA. Everyone speculates on where he is
at,but nothing solid has turned up about his whereabouts. An-
other guy who had "personal problems" that held him back.

Kamala was / is working as a truck driver in TN,and sometimes
does indies.

Mike Rotundo recently wrestled his "retirement match" in Japan.
He lives in northern FL,and owns a tire/auto shop/store with his
wife. His son is a great amateur wrestler as well.

Mike McGuirk used to be married to B.Brian Blair, and when they
got a divorce,I don't remember what happened to her. I believe
she married someone else in the business, but I can't recall.

Also,I'm not sure on their stories about leaving WWE/WWF.

KayfabeMan
05-31-2004, 07:18 PM
I thought she was release/decided to go because she refused to go to OVW for training?

She was asked to go to OVW and be a trainer at one point,if
that is what you mean. She turned it down because she was
tired of traveling and being away from home for so long.

that would be weird to go see a movie and see Mr. Fuji greating me on the way in. :shifty:

movie theater. Not much else that I know about him; wish I did.

I have SO just found my summer project; road trip around Tennessee and find Mr. Fuji! (shouldn't be too bad, since I live in Alabama, so it'll be a short drive)

Blitzkrieg
Norman Smiley
Barry Horowitz
Super Calo
Big Van Vader
Bam Bam Bigelow (did he retire for good after being burned?)
The Iron Shiek
Steve McMichael
Steve Williams and Terry Gordy
John Kronus

Longshot
05-31-2004, 09:13 PM
I heard Norman Smiley is getting another tryout for the WWE.

Vader I heard was doing some shoot-fighting.

Iron Shiek is probably retired because of bad knees...look at him walking at Wrestlemaina X7...the only reason he won was because his knees couldn't handle the fall over the top rope.

Barry Horowitz was already covered.

Not sure about the rest.

KayfabeMan
05-31-2004, 10:29 PM
Nikolai Volkoff has been doing autograph signing appearances, and
may still actually wrestle once and a while. He's definitely still aro-
und.

Sean Mooney lives in Arizona, and operates his own production co-
mpany called "Moonrise Productions". He wants NOTHING to do with
pro-wrestling,and won't talk to very many people about his time in it.

Craig DeGeorge is actually Craig Minervini,a news anchor and sports
broadcaster. Craig worked for NBC 6 in Miami for quite some time be-
fore going to FOX Sports Net,where he covers Florida Marlins
baseball and other sports. He's married to NBC 6 anchor (& hottie)
Martha Sugalski.

Blackjack Mulligan lives in north FL,and is involved in underwater dives.

Blitzkrieg should still be in California, and works as a computer prog-
rammer (or something similar). He was VERY underrated in my opinion.

Norman Smiley lives in Miami, and works regularly with many FL
indies. He will indeed be doing a match for WWE on June 21,at
RAW in Miami. After his last tryout with WWE,he was informed
that they liked his gimmick, but he was "too old" to be hired by
them. Maybe they'll change their minds...

Big Van Vader is working for JAPW for a few shots in NJ. He's teaming
with Mike Awesome. You can check JAPW's website for more info at:
www.JAPW.net

Bam Bam Bigelow is taking indy bookings again, and I believe he has
tagged with Chris Candido a few times in USA Pro Wrestling in NY.I
also believe that that is where he is still working regularly/sometimes.

Steve McMichael has gained a bit of weight, but other than that,I ha-
ven't heard anything about him at all in quite a while.

Steve Williams works mainly in Japan, but when MLW was around (for
the 10 minutes they were) he worked their shows. He was tagging in
MLW with a shitty rookie by the name of PJ Friedman, and since their
closure he's worked in Japan a bit.

Terry Gordy unfortunately passed away quite some time ago. His
son,Terry Gordy Jr.,works as Ray Gordy, and is a regular with NWA
Wildside, where he holds gold.He will also be making his debut with
ROH and other promotions soon.

John Kronus I believe lives in NJ,and was working there. I haven't
heard anything about him in a while, but that doesn't mean that
he's not there.

Nowhere Man

Akeem / One Man Gang is working as a correctional facility officer
in a prison (I believe in GA,but I may be wrong; it is in the south).

"Bad News" Brown can be seen at his site: www.BadNewsAllen.com

Gary Hart turned up briefly in MLW (when it was still around). He
was working there as a manager in an angle with Low-Ki and oth-
ers I believe.

Mosh/Chaz of The Headbangers lives in northern FL,and sometimes
works indy shows within the state. Other than that, not much from
him in a while.

The Missing Link lives in Canada I believe, and has been doing seve-
ral autograph signings and legends conventions.
