That might be the least in years for a regular episode of Smackdown.

Its been very story-heavy tonight but also mostly hit-or-miss in terms of quality.

Miz & Morrison vs. Reigns & Bryan was decent at best.

Morrison quickly became just another person on the roster and lost whatever mystic he had coming in. Him being just another nobody quickly eliminated by Lesnar at the Rumble didn't do him any favors.

Smackdown itself was somewhat good but like almost every week, very little of anything noteworthy actually happened. Like they had Carmella pin Naomi, who had just returned, last week just to do a throw-away title match this week just so they could do another #1 contender's match next week.

Card for 205 Live looks pretty bad tonight:
* Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan vs. The Singh Brothers
* Ariya Daivari & The Brian Kendrick vs. mystery team

Tbh, idk why all the Cruiserweight shit that happens on NXT doesn't happen on 205 live.

Because Triple H stopped caring about the show months ago. Same for Adam Pearce who actually runs it.

Biggest downside to Triple H's hands-off approach is when he stops caring about something, it starts to show big time. NXT UK is in a similar boat where the show has felt like a thing that exists just for the sake of it.
