AEW is likely going to have a Trio's Championship. Omega spoke about it on the Cruise and suggested they will do a tournament next year. I could see that changing and happening sooner than later. Meltzer also said he thinks it should happen since they have so many good Trio's right now. Factions are realistic and create brands and money and inevitably lead to strong story lines when factions split or grow and change.

According to Meltzer, Archer had been planned to debut last night but those plans were changed last week for Creative reasons.

Also seems another reason was to space out debuts instead of having a bunch happening almost all at once.

Also seems WWE might have tried to get Matt Hardy pulled from his indies booking this weekend out of spite of him leaving. Supposedly WWE claimed that since the booking was made while he was under contract, they still had the right to pull his booking. One of the vendors of the event stated that Hardy is still scheduled to be at the event though.

Exactly. It's not that they're using legends, it's how they use them when they do. So far, they're using them to progress stories, and to try and get feuds, matches, and younger talent over.

Unlike WWE who brings them back because they need to, in order to try and draw as many eyeballs to the brand and its biggest events, because they're so stupid they don't know how to properly develop new stars or storylines today, and then, they use the legends to ultimately shit on the current young talent instead of getting young talent over.

Seems the name "Death Triangle" has a sentimental meaning for the Lucha Bros.

The original Triangulo de la Muerte included a wrestler named Cuchillo who was the person who trained the Lucha Bros.

He passed away in 2014 and this was the Lucha Bros way of paying tribute to him in AEW which is why the group's Spanish name was also mentioned during PAC's promo.
