As has been widely reported, the WWE had been planning to bring back the 'dead' Al Wilson as part of the Undertaker's latest feud with Booker T. The plan was for Booker T to accidentally raise the dead at Judgment Day during a pre-match ritual involving the magic powder. Wilson was then to slowly retreat backstage, before taking part in a supernatural angle with his Playboy covergirl daughter. Many people were left disappointed at the outcome of the match, as much of the hype building up to the match had focused on the pouch that Booker had been carrying.
During an informal discussion with a reporter, one superstar was quoted as saying, 'Torrie was pissed, dude.' This backs up further statements from backstage hands, that claim Torrie became angry at WWE officials when they announced that the addition of her father to the storyline had been cancelled.
Al Wilson was said to be unconcerned by the change of plan, and laughed off a suggestion that he may encourage his daughter to quit the WWE.

Am I the only one who thinks that this is a damn shame? That match needed something extra, and they blew it. Hopefully Vince will realise and use the idea at a future PPV. I for one was a big Al Wilson fan.

If Torrie thought that storyline was a good idea, she needs to get her head examined, seriously

I'm sick of these early 90's angles already.
There's no way Vince can recreate the past no matter how badly he screws up the present.

Personally, I think it would have been awesome because of how classic Booker T's reaction to it would have been.

Oh my God! It really was Al Wilson? I think I was joking that the hand coming out of the ground was Al's hand, but...

True, but you gotta wonder how sick women might get of the T&A all the time. Anything different probably seems like gold to her.

I just read that and pissed myself laughing. (metaphorically speaking)
There's no way that they were gonna bring back Al Wilson from the dead!
The writing on Smackdown is chronic, and has been for a while now, but come on.....nobody is gonna watch it EVER if they tried one like that!
So to whoever wrote that piece of fiction.......thanks for the chuckle!

I'll just say this... pro wrestling is at it's worst when it tries to be too realistic.

That would have been cool, When the wwe does stupid things it's always good for a laugh :y:
Al Wilson is alive? No way!!! He's dead!!! I saw him in that casket! No way he can be alive! Which fool said he was alive? Didn't the WWE say that he was dead? Trust Mr McMahon! If he said that Al Wilson's dead, he certainly ain't alive!!!

LMAO. Can someone verify if that was really from the Observer, because it sounds pretty incredulous.
Hilarious if true though.
